Freaking shoelace
Yesterday was My Generation Day at my local Stations. One of the benefits is $3 movies. So I go there with no intention to gamble, just see the New Star Trek. When I get to the cashier, I see you need a players card for the $3 and its $11.50 for 3-D without the card. Of course, the players club is at the far opposite end of the casino so I head over and get my card. Woman reminds me its six times points day so I should swipe my card at a kiosk. I don't since I'm here to see a movie. I'm walking back when one of my shoelaces comes untied. I walk a few feet and sit down at a slot machine. While tying it I "hear" the machine" talking" to me. I look at it for the first time and its an updated version of an Irish Shamrock game that I once hit for $250 when I sat to wait for a friend to use the restroom. Kismet, it seems. $20 goes thru it like a bad case of white castles. I figure its got to hit sometime so another $20 goes in. Nadda. I'm down to my last $20 and I need $3 for the movies so I tell myself this far and no further. I'll cash out at $5 if I'm losing. That's what happens and ten minutes later I'm in the movie, $55 poorer. My first slot play in months and never swiped for the bonus points. There's a lesson here. Always make sure your shoes are tied before entering a casino.

LMAO!!!! Funny story. I'm sure we've all been there, done that, in some form or another.
