Recreational W2G Win #3-Tiny surprise on Multliine

Post by alpax »

Disclaimer: This pales in comparison to the two jackpots that olds has hit recently, so not trying to steal attention, just something small in between before that Spin Poker hit photo is revealed by Phil.

With the discussion of multiline taking place, I decided to try a little bit of it near the end of my casino visit session. I play single line $1/$2 most often, and maybe 2 or 3 shots at a $5 game, but decided to try multiline instead. The Jacks or Better is the only game that is not shorted pay schedule wise (I hope it lasts) so I thought it was worth risking the last 10 rounds before heading out.

On about the 7th shot, I was startled about what I was dealt with. It was a shock. I relaxed after a few seconds and the hardest part was indeed making sure I held every card since the buttons were not is top condition. I did it really slow, and checked/rechecked a few times to make sure I did not mess this up.

I know DDB and TDB players have won more than this several times, but for Jacks or Better, this is considered a good win. I think over the last 2 years, I was dealt more Straight Flushes (even on deuces wild where it means little) than I hit on them. I'll take it and it was good feeling heading home.

Yes, I will consider playing more multiline as long as it exists.

Yes! That's when you're really glad you're playing multiline.

We all hit our share of 4 of a kinds but when I hit a straight flush it grabs my attention even more. They are just that much more harder to get. But to get one drawn on multiline looks sooooo nice. Nice hit!

Thanks OMT. I was fortunate enough to plan on playing more than just 2 rounds a trip there. The most ideal outcome when playing multiline are good dealt hands.

I think 4 Aces dealt on a DDB or TDB would top the feeling I had since the player just has to hope for as many kickers.

Thanks case! I do tell people who do not gamble much at all but are well aware of the poker hand rankings of how irrelevant the straight flush is in video poker, they are pretty baffled it does not pay out well as it should.

I agree that since Straight Flushes are so much more rare than quads, I actually stop playing for a little bit to admire it. In this game, Straight Flush has much value.

Love it!

Thanks Phil! I think you could try multiline Jacks or Better if you are willing to stop by SouthPoint on your Vegas trip next to the airport. There is also multiline Airport Deuces there too, but single line NSU will be better play. Maybe meet Mr. Dancer at a class if you are there on a Wednesday afternoon?

You can experience multiline risk free on Video Poker for Winners. Start with twice as much credits and try 3 line. See what your outcome is at the end compared to playing 1 line at normal credits.

So pretty! Congratulations!"

Thanks Lionqueen! I agree it is a good sight to see. I am thinking about getting it printed on photo paper for a cost.

You will not see very many W2Gs from my style of play.

Not so tiny at all. WTG Alpax and thanks again for all of your help on multiline.

Thanks olds, not a problem at all. A win is a good win! I am hoping where multiline will help you the most is to reduce the chances of extensively long Royal droughts you have experienced.
