Mohegan Sun takes a break
Back from an overnight. As suspected, the casino took a break and didn't hit any good premium hands this trip. I played 9 hours between late last night and this morning. Split the play between DDS deuces wild and Spin poker bonus deuces wild. No Royals, no quad deuces, and only one wild royal and 5 aces once. Nearly busted the 500 budget, but it was getting to be time to head home so I just packed it in with about 80 bucks left. I did keep to the game plan and only bet the amount I needed to be even if one of the premium hands came in . That has been a good way for me to play, Most of the time your bets are low, but as time goes by and you are losing, the bets get a little higher. I caught 5 aces at early on and I would have been ahead had I quit then, but we all know how that goes. Hope they are not slipping back into a disappointing pattern.

Heading up to Mohegan tonight with the Mrs. Hot and humid again here. She is already back at school and could use the break. I will make sure she sees that I am Mr. Conservative tonight just in case they plan on striking me out again. I have been working out in the batting cage with Wolf vp and a little here too. Hope I face a left handed pitcher tonight. I can handle the fast balls, but I hope the casino doesn't throw too many breaking balls. They already broke my balls enough over the years.

Back this afternoon from a nice overnight with the Mrs. Just back from dads. Watched the Red Sox game. They won and are just out of first place. Coffee on the way home and then to the forum. The Mrs. didn't hit any premium hads this time, but at nickels the damage wasn't too bad. I had a real tug of war with the DDS machine and late in the session the All Star machine on Bonus Deuces Wild. I decided not to give the casino a chance at getting much money back this trip and avoided any of the big pot shots. Kept my usual budget to 500. They came close to getting me on the DDS stud machine but finally I hit a Wild Royal which brought me back to even. I am keeping up my new 2 month old strategy of betting what I need to be even or better if one of the smaller premium hand hits.
Pretty much the same strategy on the All Star machine. After getting even on the DDS machine, I called it a night ( actually it was morning ) and headed up to the room. Had a late breakfast with the Mrs. then 2 more hours of play before heading home. They almost had me on the All Star spin machine again. Two strikes and I was facing the casino's toughest relief pitcher. I was playing 3 lines but due to the fairly cold machine, now found my bets up to 5 bucks a line on this dollar machine. I think I had only a few bets remaining when I hit 5 Aces which brought me even and 27 bucks to the good. However, the ending has a couple of more positives. I had about 10 hours of play and racked up a lot of free play for the next trip. In fact, close to 400 bucks. This was accomplished by hitting a certain number of points for the day, as well as a certain point total for this cycle. We caught two 25 buck free plays on the Mrs. card as well. If all goes well at home tomorrow, I will be heading back up late Sunday evening and stay over through Monday morning. The free play is good for a month. That is a nice deal for me. Finally, just from the points earned this trip, we were able to get on the house a nice little 7 inch color rca lcd tv which will be perfect for the kitchen. Only 129 bucks fully paid for by the points and my point balance is right where it was before this trip. The Royal eluded me again as well as the quad deuces but I have no complaints at all. So far, this is the best overall strategy I have ever used. The cheaper premium hands keep you in the game when they hit and the big ones when and if they come are all gravy.

Nice olds. Just think: you can watch the Red Sox lose to the Cubs in this coming World Series on that new tv.

They gotta get and stay in first place first. Actually, I always liked the Cubs too. My all time favorite player in the National League was Ernie Banks. Wish I still had his baseball card from around 1962. I guess I will watch the first game on the new small screen TV. I guess there is a "small" chance the Cubs could win the first game. If they do win though, I'll have to send you an Arnold Palmer through the mail.

Can the Cubs win despite the curse? They look very potent. Daniel Murphy just flat out denied them last season.
BTW, good story and win olds!

Took me a little while to understand it. How it would work out for you and olds.
The American League race is so tight right now. A good amount of those teams are missing a solid 3rd starting pitcher, but I think the Indians have the best shot but have a huge hole at the catching position. The Red Sox are not a shoe in despite their potent offense.

I have been watching just about every Red Sox game with my dad. I agree on their offense, but I'm not so sure they have that spark and drive this year. We'll see what happens. I would love to see the Cubs play the Sox though.
