What is your session bankroll?

Interesting comments about Progressives. I really need to cool my jets. Just because I see the RF number going up doesn't mean my betting must continue more than normal. I cannot be swayed unless the JOB hits $1,100. That's still about 0.25% from the magical 100%. But it would grab my interest. Otherwise, I need to get my ass out of there and enjoy the good life at Borgata again.

Don't get me on the subject of Progressives otherwise I will be popping more blood pressure pills. Oh...wait a minute...You mean progressives as it relates to vp games. Sorry.....

Nostalgic for Teddy and the party he formed right before your eyes back in '12!

How did the Palms session go, Alpax? You have a very strong constitution to put a potential $1,125 at risk for a $10 gift card. I love JOB; must have been a load of fun!

The first time around did go good, a $170 win after 1000 rounds of JorB.

However the next few times did not turn out good, the most horrible luck. I switched to Deuces Wild for the other times.

Lost about $460 the 2nd time, then about $670 the 3rd time. Earlier this year I tried to go for the $25 gift card at 12500 points (so more than double the amount) and lost $1650.

I also played and earned a free seafood buffet ($25.99 value) at the same time as the free gift card each time.

My perspective on this is that players do not have to lose hundreds of dollars for a $10 gift card, some days players win but I just happened to run into terrible luck. Most other places give you nothing more while playing video poker, the Palms have outstanding video poker odds.

Unfortunately this opportunity may no longer exist due to the acquisition by Red Rock Resorts/Stations.

The comps crawl is especially slow with my predominant "full pay" play. If you're going to play anyway, you may as well hit the venue with the best rewards. They sure had their palms open for your cash!

My session bankrolls usually equate to 25% of the royal. So for .25c, $250, .50c, $500, 1$ $1,000. That's generally speaking and not a hard or fast rule. For higher variant games like DDB or TDB, I usually bring more to the table... 300-500$...sometimes more depending on how much time and/or wanting for punishment I want to have :) And more for multi-line games of course.

But I play on the cheap. My bets always vary wildly between one and five coins depending on how the machine is playing and my mood. It's kept me afloat pretty well, though the comp situation, already compromised by my full pay play, is made even worse.

But sometimes premium quads come early on. If this happens now, and I
get up $500 in the first hour, I cash out and head to the
Amphora Lounge.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, that's a damn cushy sanctuary Car! If I had that option, I'd jet down there too. I gave back $195 yesterday at Caesars. Still a winner, but a beaten down one.

If you can get to Diamond at CET, I think Borgata will upgrade you to Black Label and access to the Amphora. You seem to play a lot at Caesars, maybe it"s doable.
