Long Cold Summer

I have been on an unbelievable hot streak since the spring. Over my last 19 trips, I have won 16 of them. Not a single royal or AWAK and only one signer. Granted, a lot of the winners were in the $50-$200 range and the 3 losers were complete bust-outs. If a bad day goes positive - I leave. I only play for a hour or so, two hours max. Someday the other shoe will drop.

Yeah, excited a cool spell is coming this weekend. Yesterday, temp at 9:00 am was only 92 with a heat index of 106.   82 at 10:30 tonight with heat index of 90.

They are my Houston Cougars as well. Graduated with BBA in Accounting in 1980. Love that the football program is finally legit again. That bowl win last year against Florida State and the win this past weekend against Oklahoma should go along way towards gaining them some respect as welll as helping them in their recruiting efforts. They need to do whatever it takes to keep their coach Tom Herman as I am sure the way he has turned the program around others will be beating on his door like they did with Sumlin and Briles.

Good luck getting back your winning mojo. Video poker can be just as brutal as regular slots if you don't get any good cards to work with.

The Peach Bowl was an awesome experience. We loved Atlanta and played Biloxi IP casino on the way over and back. Should be an interesting year with Herman. Looking forward to Lamar tomorrow and then Cincinnati next week. #1-0. Maybe we can meet up at a game. Class 73/76.

We've seen a great hot streak on the same machines. A local named Mike has hit for over $35K in the past 6 weeks playing 100 play 1,2,& 5¢ TDB. Has been dealt 4 Aces three times, (2x with K), 2'sw/K on 5¢, and several dealt quads. One night we talked as he started with $500 and cashed out $2,500 having been dealt 4RF and hitting multiple Royals each time and AWAK multiple times as well over six hours. Our last trip he showed me his Monday hand pay check for dealt 2wK on 5¢ that he hadn't cashed four days before while awaiting another hand pay. Keep it up Mike. Hope to check with him next week.

Wow amazing hits on that 100 hand machine, contrast that to last week as I watched a regular lose $3200 playing 100 hand bonus QQs and not getting one dealt 4oak or dealt QQs, getting dealt 4 to the Royal and not hitting 1.

Two hour max should be the realistic yardstick for me. I have either made a large profit small by staying beyond an hour or busted outright.

Yes - all the above. I spend too much money and have lost the comps that kept me going. We'll be going next June for a golf tournament and that's it - until someone decides 'We should all go to Vegas'!   Sigh
