Re: Just another lucky pot shot at Mohegan Sun
I honestly don't have a clue why this works. Play all day at max coins and nothing. Play CS dollars and up pops the best hands of the day. Win 4 go to max and wham there it is. I give up trying the explain it. If it's luck, so be it. I'll just keep doing my thing and cashing my tickets.

You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth w
Pepsodent, Pepsodent, Pepsodent. In our case where the green went when
we feed the machines. My last session played a disappearing act with my
bankroll faster than 3 card monte could get it. Not even a hint at a
small premium hand.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Glad I could inspire your green line! I had no idea that I was quoting a commercial tag line until your post; then I looked it up. Our error was in thinking that the bet one premium result was a cue to max. Really, if you're doing anything but CS it's gone! And if I've already lost $150 on my bet max folly, a $25 quad is not going to be much of a dent in the red ink in JOB, so I never went down. Phil can at least claw his way back on DW. I may even stick a red Post It above the Bet Max button on the slant top at this point.

Back earlier today from an absolutely incredible string of hits in the same session including one great one by the Mrs. I will start with the Mrs play. She was playing DDB on a nickel spin poker machine. She played 5 lines and 5 a line. She held a single ace and the draw produced 4 aces with a kicker good for 10,000 nickels or 500 bucks. This was early in the session too and she held her own the rest of the evening. Good for her.
My session was absolutely like fantasy land. I hit some very rare hands on various games, but the crazy part was that they were all in the same session during the latter part of Friday night and Saturday morning. I have all of the pics on my phone, but I have been bothering Fla Phil so much lately, I am going to just post the words this time.
I had some ups and down sessions lately, so I decided to start small and see what happens. I played the quarter All Star machine on the bonus deuces wild game and only 3 lines at a quarter a line. Within the first half hour, I ended up with 4 deuces with an ace on the top line good for 400 quarters. That machine stayed good for hours and I hit 5 aces on it several times. I eventually hit a hand pay of just over 1200 dollars by drawing to a Royal that hit on the center line.
Late into the evening, I decided to play the same game but on the dollar All Star machine that has really good odds for the bonus deuces wild game. I still played 3 lines and based on my above hits, had reserved a hundred bucks for some pot shots here and there. Back later to the quarter all star machine. One paid off big time. I hit 3 Royals on the quarter machine. The hand pay was 6600 dollars. That was a huge pot shot of 9 lines at 11 quarters per line. After that, I took a long break, walk, watched the Mrs. play for a while before turning in for the evening.
Play the following morning was great too. The Mrs after breakfast decided to do a little shopping before we headed home and just a little play. While she did that, I played a dollar 5 play DDS machine on bonus deuces wild and hit quad deuces on the bottom line, 5 of a kind on another line and some other good stuff. The hand pay was over 1700 DOLLARS. With just minutes left to play before we had to head home, I went back to the dollar all star machine same game bonus deuces and hit 5 aces right away. The machine cooled and I changed games to one I rarely play Joker Kings. On about the 4th hand on that game, I hit quads back to back followed by a dealt royal with the joker good for a 1200 dollar even hand pay. Between all of these fantastic hits, there were things I left out like quad deuces again on the quarter game, many 5 of a kinds and several wild royals. Very little of the hits were given back to the casino and that is a good thing. I doubt a session like this will be repeated anytime soon. For all of you Mohegan players, tomorrow Sunday is triple status points until midnight. I plan to go later in the evening if all goes well at home and I get enough rest in. Who can explain the wacky world of vp. Recent sessions with almost nothing including no quads on job and then stuff like the above. Boggles the mind to say the least. Edited to fix some typos. Turning in as we speak. Gotta catch up on rest. Good luck all.

Last night's triple status point trip to Mohegan was a bust, but it was mainly my fault. Had a nice room with view, a gym, a pool, and tv. Hit a wild royal early on on the dollar dds machine on deuces wild at bet 1 good for 200 bucks. Didn't pack it in and u can guess the rest of the story. 500 budget busted by morning since no premium hand hit after that.

But think of all those points you racked up. Always a silver lining in Oldsville!

Win some lose some. Sounds to me like you're going in the right direction. I hit a royal last week in Tampa. Our free play is up to $180 this Friday in Hollywood, so I'm heading down by myself. The Mrs. has a closing and can't go. Just me and the machines...

Yup...just you and the machines...sounds like a set up for Battle Royal... Of course we all hope the machines don't win...We don't need another " Terminator 7 " movie yet. Good luck Phil and don't forget to take those breaks.
