Banner Year for Royals

Just got back from a two day trip to the Hollywood Hard Rock.   I play there because they offer 98.9% deuces wild in quarters and the comps are great.  Definitely worth the 4 hour drive from my home in Central Florida, but a stay over is a must.  With comped rooms and free food, it's nice to have a casino that values small time players.  Anyway, got there yesterday afternoon and played single line deuces wild the whole time.  I like to play quarters $20 at a time and switch to $1 or 50 cent play when the counter reaches $40.  This works for me and satisfies my desire to play small and win big.   Two hours into my play the counter hit $40, I switched to 50 cents and hit this really nice $500 quad deuce.  This probably seems like peanuts to you high rollers, but to a dedicated quarter player, it's very welcome.  This morning I came down early.  An hour in I hit this $1,000 royal with two cards up.  I hit one just like it last week in Tampa.  This is my fifth royal this year and am going for a personal record.  Hope it continues.

Wtg Phil. I love peanuts. Take all I can get. I save one or two a day for the male Cardinal that comes for one to my window by the computer. My streak is over, but I'm glad yours is holding its own. Giving it another shot tonight at both Mohegan and Foxwoods. Limiting how much goes into each machine as well as each venue. Same 500 roll. See what happens. Both Ted and I were smoked recently. Back to basics for me. Again congrats and keep it going. Borrowing Dan's verse that I love, better to be the windshield than the bug.

I've also had a banner year for royals in the last 13 months. Hit 4 in less than one cycle. Hoping my next one will be quarters though!
