Great last minute pull! And nice to see progressives get positive every once in awhile...

Thanks Guys! They said there was a guy playing these everyday for the past two weeks and lost a fortune. I hope it's no one on this forum. It was the highest I have ever seen them.

No doubt! It's been ages since I've seen a $1 progressive get that high! Vman you might remember (or maybe you're too young ) when the Casino Queen was still on the boat they had a $1 DW progressive that would regularly get into $6K range, plus their website showed the morning readings from the progressives so you could see if they were hit before making the trip. Sadly when they moved on land they really castrated their progressives.
Anyway, great hit!

Outstanding win! Now that is an indisputable good time to play 9/5 DDB(except for the 3.3% state taxes).
Thanks for sharing!

I only attended the Queen once before the remodel, and once after. I definitely wasn't impressed with the after. With Harrah's and Ameristar within 10 minutes of where my parents use to live, my visits on college breaks were usually there. I also often made late night visits to harrah's when going back to the Univ. of Illinois after visiting my ex at Mizzou because Harrah's had 99.95% Pick 'Em till about late 2003. I finally got a quad on the 99.95% quarter game...at Fremont casino in Sep. 2014...
Harrah's/Hollywood also had a great bonus deuces machine with a deuces meter over 1%. But they gutted the meters over a year ago. Of course I go there last night...I see both the deuces and the royal get hit by someone else on the same night! I'm a bit bitter because I've done neither at quarters! But I also didn't play because it was below 98% even with the progressives. To Hollywood's credit though, that's the only high payback game they have downgraded since they took over in late 2013. And they really haven't touched VP paytables much at all. Probably a minor miracle.
