I know most of have not gotten back to back royals, neither have I.
What I was curious about was how many of you had back to back 4oak?
I am talking about single line, non wild games like DDB.  I have gotten one in 15 years.  How many of you have had this happen?  How about trips?
Always like a good story...

Three times that I remember, in 14 years.  The last time was this year.  My favorite one - about 7 years ago I sat down at a $1 DDB machine and on the first hand was dealt quad 4's w/kicker.  The very next hand I was dealt quad 4's, but didn't get the kicker.

was playing ddb .25 9/6 and got quad A's (no kicker) on first play. Left that immediatley and went to another casino. No ddb were avalilable so I played a dedicated deuces wild 9/5 .25 and hit 4 deuces on first play. I guess this qualifies as back to back.

It is nice to hear the stories about the wins on poker machines outside the state of Pa. I have done well in AC during my summer visits hitting 2 (4) deuces within 5 hands and many other good pay hits. Now we have casinos in Pa and they are tighter than tight. The Meadows Racino is 20 minutes from home and I have yet to hit anything on their poker machines and most of the people I know who play VP haver not had any success. I will add that I was at Wheeling Island on Saturday to play table poker, after an hour of bad dealers could not take anymore and decided to look around, the place was dead. I counted maybe 20 people playing the machines, oh by the way where are their poker machines? It seems that they removed many of their machines in favor of video slots. I would like to see what will happen to Wheeling since 60 % of their business came in from Pennsylvania.

The two times I was at Wheeling, the only VP machines they had were some old machines with slot games and one Deuces Wild game. These were Dime machines with Auto-Hold. The graphics were horrible to say the least, so it was easier to just blindly keep hitting deal.
Don't ever intend to darken their door again.

Hello, FNG here. Usually a lurker, but had a story about back to back quads.About 7 years ago, at the Main St Station in downtown LV, I was playing Treasure Chest video poker, got dealt 4 3s, then the next hand I got three jacks and hit for the 4th.Funny thing is, at Main St., they do this promotion where when you hit quads, they give you this scratch off card (score with four). You have to get it verified by the change person, she gave me my card and as she's walking away, I yell to her "come back!"

Yesterday playing $1 single line had quad 8's and then TWO hands later drawing 1 hit the royal.  Not back to back but close!  Also, this bar top machine was red hot.  After being into the machine for $200 it just took off!  Was up to 2,560 credits on this $ single line machine when I hit the $4k royal.

Hey oej719 .
Its me 111charlie111 on a friends computer.  I was at Valley View Casino in SD County.  First time I'd been there.  Small place but many machines have full paytables.  And yes I would call it a "hot cycle" I don't know what else you call it.  They only negative I have of this place is that they seemed kinda pissed to pay me that royal.  $4,000 is a big hit there and they kind of acted like they were payin' out of their own pocket.   But that is pretty normal at small little casinos in my experience.

"Valley View casino "Owned by the San Pasqual band of Mission Indians" Valley View (San Diego) has a cool web site. Above popped up under entry: Indian Casinos San Diego. So many casinos, so little time....or $!
