This forum has become unbearably boring
People! Other then Tedlark's wishfull thinking fantasy hands this forum is depressing me to death!!!!!!! Wake up people!!!!! Stop being so depressed!!! So what it is rigged??? We don't gamble for a living. WE gamble for fun, social interactions with strangers combined with getting the hell away from home, nagging spouses and pain in the neck kids! To loose a few hundreds (thousands)may not look so bad if you think of the alternative. So have fun folks! I do.

I totally agree.Video poker is suppose to be fun. There are many ways to enjoy this game, not all of them require long mathematical calculations and pondering the comp value of a free sandwich. For me the fun is pitting myself against the casino on a daily basis. If I go to the casino, have a great day, play the games and come home even, I smile all the way home because I beat them again. Very rarely do they take all my money and when that happens it's usually my own fault. The problem starts when we compare ourselves to some unattainable standard. Even if you believe what you read and hear, you are not going to find those opportunities and you sure are not going to be able to take advantage of them for long. Lighten up and enjoy the gaming experience. If you can figure out how to do this over and over again for practically nothing, what's so bad about that?

Your positive thinking is notable, but I take issue with "this forum has become unbearably boring." It's interesting and educational in my opinion. When newer members sometime have questions re strategy, achievements and the like, forum members (Come Back Kid comes to mind) are quick to offer suggestions. Webman too is always quick to respond. I've learned a lot from the Forum. Keep up that positive thinking!

WE gamble for fun, social interactions with strangers combined with getting the hell away from home, nagging spouses and pain in the neck kids! I totally agree with the "fun" part, but not necessarily the rest. My kids are long gone from my house (they have kids of their own), and, normally, my spouse and I play side by side.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY GREGORIO!!!!!
I say that because it appears that back on November 1, 2011 you initiated a forum posting stating: "How this forum is an absolute joke."
Since then, in addition, your contributions to this forum have included:
- posting that, in your opinion the cost of gambling has increased due to the proliferation of multi-hand machines. Yet however, in a subsequent post you stated that you mostly play multi-hand machines.
- posting about the ills of smoking.
- posted asking why, in the year 2014, are we still paying taxes on winnings of over $1,200.00?
- posted on RNGs and the rigging of machines.
- posted asking HOW the Revel $100,000 loss rebate would apply to you?
- posted a story about witnessing a player at Borgata AC who, while playing Ultimate X TDB 2 dollar denomination, was dealt AWAK for $640,000.00.
- posted saying that you had no idea what: "deregulating casino industry" meant?
- have slammed (besides me): billyjoe, cddenver, doris, Bob Dancer, New2vp, Shadowman, and Vman. I amin goode company.
- posted in 2011 that you were here to talk about video poker. Yet, your only recent post was starting this thread? For someone who is here to talk about videopoker, making on average less than 6 posts a year won't cut it buddy....
Yawn.....
