oddball machine at Foxwoods goes my way
I posted not too long ago about this oddball Multi Strike machine I found at Foxwoods with one of the game options being DDS deuces wild or bonus deuces wild. I had an overnight there last night and hammered it pretty good. I only put in a hundred. When you hit something on the top line after doubling before you see your last card, the hit if any pays 16x the normal amount. To make a long story short, I had hit some smaller stuff on the lower lines and took a few pot shots here and there. This machine allows bets of up to twenty quarters a line so max bet is twenty bucks a deal. Too rich for me. I lucked out on one of the pot shots though. I was betting 7 quarters a line and hit a Wild Royal on the top line. That would normally pay 100 for one but it paid me 1600 for one on this game. Just that hit alone paid 11,200 quarters and with other hits on the lower lines, I had a hand pay of 2,828 dollars. Somehow, I erased the pic except the other pic that filled the screen with just the word jackpot and the amount. I sent Phil that one, but no use posting it without the pic showing the hits on the 4 lines especially the top one. I was smart enough to pack it in for the night as it was late anyway, but also dumb enough to drop 300 of it on the way home the next morning at Mohegan Sun. If one ever hits 5 aces, quad deuces, or a real royal on that top line....wow...this was wow enough for me. I am thrilled as I have had a few cold cycle trips. This gets me about even for the last few sessions. Return table on this machine is less than 98 percent so you just have be lucky and hit and run I guess.

Multi Strike is my favorite game to play on this website. Something about the music that like. I've never had the nerve to play it a the casino. I suspect the odds are terrible, but if you hit anything on the top line you're a real winner. We'll be at the Hard Rock over the holiday. We would rather be stuffing a video poker machine than a turkey.

What isn't going your way? For my part, I just had the stuffing beaten out of me. Must hold my daily loss to two figures going forward.

FAA I have more losing sessions than winners lately. Just don't want to depress the gang posting about all of them. However, this hit as posted got me even again for the last few. Phil, believe it or not, the Multi Strike odds arent that bad. Not great, but anywhere from 97.5 to 98.5% at least at Foxwoods and Mohegan. Granted, long term those are bad, but in the short run, I find this game very exciting and fun. Also with deuces wild ( you can see for yourself by playing it here ) there are so many hands that return your bet that it is fairly easy to move up the ladder toward the top line. In fact, I'm happy with just getting a hand like 3 of a kind on deuces as I move up because of the multipliers. Of course in DDS, those multipliers are x2 if you double before seeing your last card so they become multipliers of 4,8, and 16 which can make up in a jiffy the many dud hands. Unfortunately, Mohegan Sun doesn't offer DDS multi strike that I know of, but they do have that one nickel game with a 98% table. I have a lot of fun with that one on Double Bonus Deuces Wild sometimes. I have pretty much dumped 9/6 JOB again. Many many dud hands at Mohegan on it and that is with the 99.54 game. Also my Royalless streak is back again well over a couple of hundred k now so hitting my quad deuces or other good deuces hands is the only way I have been able to stay around even. At least for me, Nothing takes my bankroll faster that a quadless day on job and adding the no royal to that just compounds everything. On quadless job days, I can bust a 500 bankroll in no time. Did that twice in the last 2 weeks. Enjoy the trip. We aren't stuffing any turkeys this year either. Spending the day with dad and eating out, but Thanksgiving eve and Friday look like casino days so far. Both of them put out great Turkey spreads. Now if they would only get the sodium and salt shakers out of their kitchen. My biggest casino complaint next to the smoke. Bottom line lose the smoke...lose the sodium...and I'm happy even if I lose a little.

If I was burned, you're lucky to be alive. I simply must follow your lead and dump it altogether. 99.54% is zero consolation when losing $60 plus an hour! Quads on my first two machines. But seeking a third quad at Harrah's three machine carousel was my downfall. I should have shown better discipline. One day I will find the courage to do an all DW session. JOB is too hardwired somehow.

Yeah for you olds.
Before going to work on a rare Sunday morning, on my way I stopped at Hollywood Joliet for an hour. After getting up $600.00 I got greedy and ended up walking out down $300.00.

Up $600 I got greedy and ended up walking out down $300.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lop off a zero on each and it's my typical day! Greed obliterates me. I should always leave town ahead. My FP virtually guarantees me $50-$60. But I keep the hands coming. These beat downs have to end.
