As has already been mentioned, only play the 9/6 version. It is not hard to learn and play perfectly. Many on this site do not like JOB and find it boring, but I still think a quad, sf, or a royal is exciting. Also, any casino who offers 9/6 JOB will, at some point, be a positive play--point multipliers, drawings, special gifts or trips.

About Caesars, overprotective. They're not rewarding good players as much as bad players, from their perspective. Someone playing a 99% game as a 97% game should get comps. It's debatable in the end if they're saving money or costing money.
