One other thing I might need to add to that which may or may not make a difference to you. As far as eating and dining options go Roadhouse has almost nothing, all they offer is a small counter in which you can order a burger or other fast order finger foods. Horseshoe has it all, a very nice steakhouse, another oriental restaurant and a huge buffet. If you're looking for live entertainment Horseshoe always has a great band playing in the bar area. Either way you go both places are right across the street from each other. Don't know what game you like to play but Gold Strike offers 9/7 TDB at the $1 and above denomination, best in the area.

Yeah, they usually have that point multiplier on Mondays/Tuesdays. Both casinos also offer 9/7 Double Bonus on the floor (bars are 9/6/5 though) for dollars as well as 9/6 DDB.
The best times to go to the casino is on a weekday, normally there are more incentives like that.
I forgot to mention, a good point is brought up.
Although 9/7 Double Bonus is tougher to master, but it is the better game at max dollars since AWAK on 9/6 DDB is subject to state taxes that cannot be reclaimed.

True, but 9/7 DB is the better game to begin with.
Thanks Ted!
