I have played there a number of times. The VP odds are not very good. They're much better at the Hollywood Hard Rock. Drive 30 minutes more and you'll do much better.

So it's either the Rock or the hard place.

Never did well there on video poker. However, I did see the guy next to me hit 10,000 playing ultimate x dollars.
That was right after a roach crawled across the console.

I will be in Florida in January for a visit with family and will be near the Seminole. Not sure if we will visit the casino or not.

One lucky roach!
But seriously that's pretty gross.

James Grosjean has traveled to casinos all over the world. Many people (including me) would say he is the smartest and most knowledgeable gambler in the world today. The man is brilliant. He was asked to list the casinos he enjoyed the most in all that he has visited. He only listed 4 and the Hard Rock in Hollywood Florida was the first he mentioned. This does not mean the best odds but the casinos that were most enjoyable and where he enjoyed playing the most.
I would post a link to the article but I believe it is not allowed. By the way the title of the article was "That Place is a Dump". He was talking about all the bad properties but then mentioned those he enjoyed.

We switched all our local play to Hollywood in the last few years. Their comp structure is set up to encourage frequent visits and we take full advantage of it. If you find a machine with a sticky button, all you need to do is turn on the service light and an engineer comes over and changes it out. Where have you ever seen that?Hollywood is located in the only Florida county with multiple casinos, so the competition is what is driving their sales efforts. We think it's one of the best run casinos in the country.
