Getting this off my chest

Post by Onenickelmiracl »

Was at a casino tonight, could have sworn I saw the host put an entry in her pocket at the drawing Was watching her pick entries from about 50 feet away and it looked like she took two entries out and put one of them in her pocket. It looked like mine the way I folded it and there were less than 100 in the barrel. The last entry out was worth $1500 free play. Went to the other side of the casino, reported it to security, spoke with a manager. Wonder how this will play out.

It looked white like an entry for sure, white, the same size as the other. It's so scandalous, that's why I'm posting here on my least noticed forum I'm a member. Almost embarrassing seeing something like this, the feeling I was swindled or someone else, depending whose name was on the ticket. The security manager didn't seem to enthusiastic when I asked for him to share his results of looking into it. Didn't say no, just didn't seem enthusiastic about it by the look on his face.

I've never won anything in a casino raffle, not even a dime of free play.  Hope it happens one day, but I'm not counting on it.

geez, sorry5c Yeah right. If I was affected, maybe. Don't know how they'll know I was affected unless they did an inventory of all the entries in the barrel. Places do do this, but an entry could be put back in as well. You would think there is no reason to even do this. The problem is if two came out when they needed one, but I don't know how fair it is to just go with the one on top. Then why not put it back in or both in and go again. If she saw my name, maybe that's why they used the top one. Then the excuse it was a backup in case nobody claimed.

They don't treat me right I think, feel like I'm taken for granted. I let go a discrepancy before where another host told me if I won early in a drawing, if I took it, Id be ineligible. So that day, I came right before the grand prize drawing and didn't place. Had 2-5% of entries. Then found out they changed the rules that day, you could win before and be eligible for the grand prize. Plus you could keep winning every hour before. I lost $667 in value for drawings times four. Previously was the called the first hour every time, so would have done well. It was not fair.

Hadn't even thought about it for a while until a host denied me a comped too on NYE based on play. I basically quit there in May. Thing was the offer wasn't supposed to be on play, but on availability.

Another guy told me tonight he got screwed on the football contest where he was the leader every see until the last week. Then two guys tied him and they went with the tie breakers retroactively, which was not in the rules. Instead of him tying for first and splitting the top three awards, he got second. The casino won't budge, gaming doesn't care, he has to eat his **** sandwich. Dont think I'll get any buffets.

Would it be possible for you to ask to see the footage from the eye in the sky?

It's not unheard of to rig a drawing. The Venetian comes to mind. Palming a ticket for a later drawing perhaps.

I'm sure our casino rigs drawings...And the drawings are not out of a barrel, they are "Computer Generated"...Its a joke, needless to say, we rarely go for "drawings".

this happened around 25 years ago at the sands in vegas.they were doing drawing for a minute or 2 in the money box,you know where they blow the money around and you catch it.anyway there's a bunch of us standing around waiting for the name to be drawn when this woman came out of nowhere, walked thru the crowd to the podium like she knew she was going to be called, and yes she was.we also saw some woman called about 3 times under different names and that was reported but nothing came of it.
