Also strategically speaking, two pair joker poker is pretty tough. I don't like it (never got a straight flush or better), but occasionally play it because Hollywood STL offers AC Joker poker plus a full natural royal progressive starting at $1000 (98.59%+prog.)

I'm gonna have to check next time I go there. I more than likely made a mistake going from memory. Even with the two pay tables you mentioned it still seems like a better game than the original I went looking for. I doubt they would break any law that actual works in their favor. Strange law. Why would the government care if the casino actually threw us a bone now and then? Maybe if profit goes down so does there tax revenue.

That's part of it. It also prevents casinos from making game setting mistakes that could be punished more severely by smart players. For example, IGT simply won't ship machines that offer positive paytables to states with that law like, CO, IA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MS, PA, WI...I may have missed a few of those. MN is even worse with a 98% max. And many WV casinos have a horrid 95% max.

In Atlantic City it's joker poker everywhere. Banks and banks. Makes sense, nobody likes it.

I might give it another shot next time but my favorite is DDB or TDB. Can't keep away from them no matter how much they beat me down, lol.

Any body ever play this game? Supposedly Mount Airy has 1 machine with this and I was thinking of finding it and giving it a shot tonight. Normally don't play Wild card games.
2 Pair Joker Wild (JW2)
That's a Game Maker program. can we discuss those here ? It used to be 20-8-7-6 and something close to 103%. That was a very long time ago when Joker game programming was not so accurate. Actually, Bally's used focus groups to determine the ER of their game product.
