Magic Deal Poker - New game for January 2017
Another one of the new G2E 2016 games released this month, Magic Deal Poker!
The possibilities are intriguing
DDB meets Deuces Wild - how many more jackpot quads can you get?
Deuces Wild with more wild cards
Mr. Dancer described this game as Dreamcard taken to another level! I am sure Tedlark will like this one.
The Help Page Description, the rate of the Magic Card appearing differs by game type.
Double Double Bonus
Deuces Wild
Subscribed to GOLD again for the month to try it out!

alpax I spent all night playing and the swings were out of this world. I would like to play this in a casino when it comes out but I will be cautious for sure when I do, it takes a while to think out the hands and develop any kind of strategy.

I personally like this game concept but I fully understand that the Bonus Feature triggers more seldom than Dreamcard. Thus the player would pay double wagers most of the time that will bring down the bankroll fast before getting Magic Cards which will induce big swings.
3 Magic Cards with an Ace is the dream result for DDB/TDB players.
I am planning on analyzing this game hence I signed up for GOLD again, but I will not be able to do it this week. I'll have something for DDB players in the middle of the month or so.
In the bigger picture, this Bonus feature does increase the return over the standard game. I would say that is a big benefit to consider as a trade off to a bigger bankroll requirement. A good amount of the newer games do not increase the return.

I've found that when holding say, a 4 with 2 Magic Cards, I've had a pair of 2's or 3's pop up next to the 4 and I've then gotten quad 2's or 3's with a 4 kicker. This has happened several times. What has been interesting is the number of times I've gotten dealt quad ducks when playing Deuces Wild Bonus.
Fungame,I agree.

Thanks for sharing. I'm huge fan of poker. Most of the time I play poker with friends. But I often play video poker at LINK REMOVED to practice my skills. Once I even won 200$

Ted, I sent you a private message (GOLD member feature) with the preliminary strategy to the game.
I'll post on the Strategy forum when I get the chance to finish out the details.

Looks like it needs a large BR to play. This will eat up $20-$40 before the seat is warm.
I'll ask Mr Dancer about it in class.

The description somewhere, I think, said the magic cards come up on average once every 10 hands. Really? In my recent sessions, they've been so infrequent I decided to measure, and they've varied from once every 35 hands to once every 55 hands. I am glad, however, that if these are "beta" tests of games being prep'ed for real life release into casinos, that we get a chance to see how they're designed, because I wouldn't play a hand on this game in a real casino if my life depended on it. You'd get the same result by flushing your money down the toilet in the casino men's room!

When playing DW bonus 10 hands, the game held all 5 cards when I was dealt a wild royal and didn't let me go for the natural royal if I wanted to. Would this be true in a real casino, also?
I believe the wild royal was with one deuce, also. It happened at least twice so far.

mammajamma, I can't get that to happen here. Can you send a picture if it happens again?
