I would not rely on them end of the year print outs. This is the very reason I started tracking my wins and losses each trip. I subtract my coin out from coin in and print out says I lost $12,210.00I have no idea how they come up with that number but the last 2 years I been tracking my play its off by miles. If I lost 12k at a casino I would never step in one again!

You are absolutely correct about the tracking not being accurate. The IRS definitely knows about the casino club card pulling if a player sees a favorable situation not to record a win towards the account. For heavy players with many reported W2G wins, I do not think they will accept a casino log of win-loss.

It normally happens the most with slot games since you sometimes have to wait out the result of long bonus games and the card reader closes out the session due to inactivity.

Long time ago, even though I did not play much I had a reported loss that was greater than my annual income. I fortunately had no W2G wins that year, but IRS will definitely question the Win Loss record there.

It is important for everyone to know what you stated, and do record keeping if you are able to play weekly.

After my two sessions yesterday I think I got half my answer to why I may not have done as well as I would think with all the free play I got in 2016. Think jumping around betting levels was the other half of my totals being less then expected. First trip was 4 1/2 hours of 100% 9/6 JOB. I did not move played the same machine the whole time. 19 four of a kinds and left dead even.Trip 2 with the wife 7 hours of 100% 9/6 JOB. I did move many times, had 17 four of a kinds left up $85. Total coin in $13,453.I think I am way off on how much JOB I really played last year, was playing other game that hurt my totals. I am a sucker for Bonus Deluxe (Bdlx) 98.49%. This game I am giving up this year. Also staying away from 99.73% DW for the first 2 months play to see how this JOB play works out. So far 4 trips in 2017 no losing trips, total coin in $29,243 up $765.

That's a great start to the year. I would play the deuces game rather than the JOB, but that's a matter of personal preference.

I always thought it was about a break even game if only I put in the time and coin. You're bearing this out thus far. Figure you're due to a handful of clunker trips that will get you to BE.

Hope you've retained 7Stars at the Total Reward Caesars properties, you will be entitled to a 3 or 4 day cruise. We did achieve the 7 star level again in 2016.

My understanding is that the cruises are not completely "free", rather, they could be thought of as heavily discounted.

We are not strongly attracted to them, as we have already cruised most of the itineraries offered.

Yep, that is the right way to put things. I should not have made it sound like it is a complete steal. The travel costs to get to the port location as well as the port fees are not covered. I did receive a free cruise to the Bahamas offer in the past, but I'd have to fly over to Miami to even use it.

Any drawings to win big prizes like automobiles should be considered heavily discounted, since the winner is on the hook to pay for the taxes involved in the winning.

Kudos to you and the spouse for earning the 7Stars feat in 2016 at Total Rewards. If you time it right you could get the membership through 2018.
