Is this game too good to be true?
I go to Vegas at least twice a year and found several 50 cent 101.6% deuces machines and with a promotion I have I could play at a 1% cash back on top of that for a 24 hour period. These games are not listed on any site, and I may be the only one that knows they exist, as I rarely see anyone playing on them. The problem is I don't think I have the stomach to deal with the volatility of this game. With the deuces alone paying about 10% of the return, you could lose a huge amount of money very quickly. And on top of that every 4 deuces hit is a taxable jackpot, which would lower your real return on that game, and might also send some red flags to the casino management if you hit them too often. But the thought of having a $60 to $70 an hour game, at least for 24 hours, is a very tempting proposition. Just wondering if anyone else has found such a good game somewhere but just couldn't deal with the extreme volatility or the high denomination necessary is profit from it?

Well...I'm not aware of any deuces wild paytable that high without a progressive with it that got high. Double deuce, 100.93% ER is the highest I am aware of and never saw it past the quarter denomination.
Having said that...if u indeed found this goldmine game and don't have the scratch to play it, a second option would be to work out a finders fee and reveal it to somebody that does. Everything is negotiable. Good luck and if this game is in Vegas, send me a private message
Cheers!

Why would hitting 4 deuces at .50 denom be a taxable jackpot? 1000 50 cent pieces is $500.00 according to my math, right? What am I missing?

What am I missing? It's loose deuces. Deuces pays 2500 credits, i.e., $1250@50c.

Yes, this has happened to me also (needed a players club card to get the edge - not an inherent paytable player edge) where I would need $2.50 a deal (50 line penny denomination) - with 50 lines volatility was not the issue. I just didn't feel comfortable at $2.50 per deal.I go to Vegas at least twice a year and found several 50 cent 101.6% deuces machines and with a promotion I have I could play at a 1% cash back on top of that for a 24 hour period. Nice find wherever it is. But you think you can really pound out loose deuces at 1000 hands an hour for that hourly after cash back? You definitely couldn't play that fast on the old D nickel coin-dropper. (RIP)
And although the play is obviously positive, run like me on deuces, and you'll definitely lose money. D'Oh!
