OMT that's a raw deal. And to happen in a contest no less.

Playing deuces wild bonus in the 7 star tournament, I have just, once again, been dealt a wild royal with two magic cards, and it auto held.
I was dealt two of spades, king of clubs, jack of clubs, and two magic cards, which then filled in to complete the wild royal, and auto held. There is no doubt that I would have discarded the deuce in this case, as I had a 3 in 49 shot at a royal paying 32 times as much as the wild royal.
me too.....it may have cost me anywhere from 2,875 to 38,750 points for that one hand.
The cards from left to right were the 2/hearts,ten and jack/spades and 2 magic cards..Q & K, spades of course on my 53rd deal

I cannot provide a screen shot, since I am one of the few people on earth without a cellphone camera.
I can describe exactly where it happened though. It was deal number 25 of my sixth session today.
FYI For windows:
1. hit alt+PrtScr
2. Open MS Paint for Windows
3. Crop picture if Needed (I usually do)
4. Save file as jpg
5. Host picture on third party site (i.e. imgur, photobucket, etc)
6. Post here with image tags.
I have no idea whether I was supposed to hold this Ace either, btw...lol But I would guess so. Maybe any single Royal card?

I believe it was the correct play since two deuces with an ace is part of the basic Bonus Deuces Wild strategy.
There is 1 in 196 chance at the Natural Royal.
49 remaining cards choose 2 / 6 combinations (JT, JQ, JK, QT, QK, KQ)
I was considering exploring Bonus Deuces Wild charts if this game gets very popular.

Alpax, I would be very pleasantly surprised if the BDW paytable used for last week's weekly Magic Deal Poker tournament will be used when this game hits the casinos . . . [QUOTE=Vman96]

I completely agree with your opinion. The return of the BDW from the contest was as high as 99.464% and these days most casinos are offering pay schedules in the 98% range.
Rare to see specialty games with the higher pay schedule since I heard casinos loathe volatility; they will make players pay a price for it.
I think this game will be a popular choice for contests where no real money is wagered, otherwise most people are not comfortable with the gigantic swings this game produces.

I played the magic card game in the 7 star tournament again today, and, no, it did not happen. But, I was not dealt a hand that would be vulnerable to this glitch, if, in fact, it was a glitch. That's hardly surprising, as it had occurred only twice in about 5000 previous deals.
Oddly enough, I was dealt a wild royal today, with three deuces and an ace-jack suited - no magic cards were involved. It played normally.
