Mega Millions is a fairly positive play right now (particularly if you pick a set of numbers that no one else has!!). The variance may be a little dicey.

I am ashamed that some members of this forum have decided to poke fun at this person, especially considering it was their very first post. LadyNancy should be given a laurel, and hearty welcome from us all.
Please consider reading your bibles.

Ted, excellent point, though I'm a little confused about a couple points. First of all, my post was accurate, serious, and timely, though I admit I was responding more to Eduardo's comment than Nancy's. Second, the other poster who talks about bibles frequently tells us you have no shame! So, congratulations on your personal growth at being ashamed. I'm glad I could help with that. Third, I couldn't help but notice that you didn't really shed much light on the OP's question either.
But, LadyNancy, Ted's correct, as usual. I do apologize. It is a near impossible question to answer unless we know lots and lots of other things. For example, are you talking about play for fun, at a particular casino, an online casino (which we cannot talk about here), maybe a contest here at this website, or some other variation?
You might want to start with some of Dancer's Answers available on this website under the LEARN category. They are dated; however, most of the advice given is still applicable. Here's the address for one of them that you can cut and paste.

One suggestion would be to ignore advice from someone who says they play a particular game because it has recently been lucky for them … or conversely to avoid a game because it has been unlucky. Past performance was based on a sequence of random numbers that is unlikely to repeat. On the other hand, there are tools online that help to determine the average return of many games and a couple different strategies that can be employed.
If you are just starting on your video poker journey, there is quite a variety here. Dig in and give a few a try and see which ones provide the most entertainment for you. And of course there are lots more resources that perhaps other posters might be able to provide.

The previous post says pretty much what I was going to, but in a lot more words.
The crux is: you need to define what is "best" for you.
Easiest to learn? Most likely to lose the least after 1,000,000 hands? Most likely to win a contest or tournament? Most higher jackpot hands? Most likely to survive a couple of hours at the casino with a limited bankroll?

Best game to play is whichever you have mastered. Most start with Jacks or Better as it simplest one to learn.
