Bridesmaid Syndrome
I am officially the Good Luck Charm Chump, Poker Patsy, etc. For the second time in just under three months, the adjacent carousel machine hit a RF. This one was more painful, as I left it after a flush. The guy was about to sit down at an open one. He saw me rising and said, “You’re leaving? I’ll sit there.” I’d taken a loss and went to the quarter progressive. I returned about forty minutes later for his dealt RF. I was so bummed that I kept on losing at mine. I will of course omit the image of the cigar chomping bald man in the interest of privacy and decorum.

That's a nice pay schedule. It's basically 9/6 DDB except the kickers and secondary premiums are high cards instead of low. EV 99.46% imo.
Do you ever play the Aces and Faces Bonus? Same concept of higher payoffs for J/Q/K quads instead of 2/3/4. EV 99.25 instead of 99.17 because it's easier to catch quads from high cards than lows.

I don’t even know DDB. What a FML three months. Must be nice to get dealt $4,000.

You would know if you had coughed up another three bucks on 23Dec. Chump.

Did you mark my day of infamy in your diary? Pretty creepy. Taking over bashing duties for my usual bully.

OMT - please stop bashing FAA. ROTFPIMP.onemoretry wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 7:43 amI hardly think that pointing out the major flaw in your playing style qualifies as "bashing".

I always feel this way, but then I tell myself if the button wasn't pressed at that precise moment, it wouldn't have happened.
