I see an ad where I can buy a plain white T shirt from them for 44 bucks!! 😂😂😂.
To an extent, Lululemon products are "Veblen goods." The high prices are attractive because they convey status and exclusivity. Lulu uses tactics such as limited-edition "drops" to create feelings of scarcity.

Critics point out that the company is trapped because cutting prices would harm the image.

I think they'll get through the downturn, as they have adequate cash. I understand the products are perceived as high-quality, so the Lululemon tag is not purely a status symbol.

FWIW, within the last year I also started a UA Under Armour position, and that's also been bumpy in the wrong direction.

Personally I don't own any Under Armour or Lululemon. I buy the knockoffs from Temu :D.

Argentina is red on a green day. Right-wing president Javier Milei's party lost a local election in Buenos Aires, and now investors are fearing a similar result in the midterms. On Kalshi, La Libertad Avanza has dropped from near 80% win probability to below 60%. Argentina's 4-year election cycle runs 1 year ahead of the US, so Milei has a little over 2 years remaining in his term.

I'm attracted, but I missed the morning lows. BMA Banco Macro traded nearly to 45 just earlier. It began the year above 100.

YPF traded nearly to 25. I'm a motivated buyer on a pullback to 25.50.
