To simplify the analysis, suppose you're dealt 4 to a royal. Which opportunity would you prefer?

(1) [single line, $1 denom] one chance at $4000, or
(2) [multi line, 10c denom], ten chances at $400

I think most players would choose option 1 because they're trying to hit jackpots. I would choose option 2 every day, and twice on Monday.

As for availability in Nevada, it is hard to find good multi. Sometimes I have to accept single, but I'm not happy about it.
I personally, would also choose the multi-line option. When comparing the two above options, what also needs to be weighed is in option 1, what the winnings would be if it were a dud hand. The player did not connect on the royal, nor, connect on any of the 3 or 4 face cards making up the 4 to the royal. In option 2, you have 10 chances of making something back.
