Harrah's Joliet

This is still my all time favorite casino - but Saturday's visit was a wake-up call. They have cut the staff drastically - Rewards Center was closed and the buffet did not open until 4:00!!! Probably none of this would have been that bad if I had been winning, but I donated all day. Machines seem to be waaaaaaay tight. Anyone else notice changes?

Hello,Kafka.Yes, I have noticed a decline in staff & services at Harrah's Joliet.It also seems they are letting the property decline some (bathrooms are dirtier,etc.) I also feel it is one of the better casinos in the Chicago area,even though the VP is not the best.It seems the paytables change for the worse every visit(granted  there is a longer time between my visits,I can only manage about 1 per fiscal quarter) I have not had a winning session there in quite some time(seem to do better at Hollywood Aurora) but even so,I like the property,it is the most Vegas-like of most of the local casinos and hope it improves both physically & more VP friendly.

Was at Harrah's Joliet a week and a half ago and was told the Buffet is being remodeled ala "Paula Deen".  For a while Mosiac will be opened for both breakfast and lunch.
