Red Rock Games Help

Post by Lucky Larry »

Headed to RR in Vegas nest week, been several years since we played there. Reviewed VP Free 2. Since we are generally low denomination players 5,10, 25 denominations we thought we check on regular player's recommendations.

Noticed Dream Card Spin is offered

Is Quick Quads, STP games still available.

We appreciate any suggestions.

LL and Sweet C and family.

LL and Sweet C and family.Larry, Was there within past few weeks. I know STP is available everywhere but not with best paytables ... their DDB is an 8/5 game. There is a bank of nickel STP right next to the buffet and another on the other side of the main floor as well as another group out in the rotunda area upstairs from hotel registration. I've never had great luck on any of them. Better are the 100% payback machines near most of the garage/valet exits which have full pay DDB on them, even at nickel denom. Hit 4AWK on quarters at the bank between sportsbook and poker room 3 months ago. Good luck! Meow, Tomcat

"I know STP is available everywhere but not with best paytables ... their DDB is an 8/5 game."This is not accurate. I play at Red Rock frequently. There are STP games scattered throughout with 9/5 DDB for quarters and above. There are full pay Dream Card games and many, many full pay games available for 3/5/10 play quarters. I do agree that the best games available are the Optimal Pay games at or near most of the entrances. They are single line quarter to dollar denominations. In my opinion Red Rock has the best and largest selection of full or near full pay video poker when combined with possibly being the most comfortable and nicest setting of any casino resort in all of Vegas.

DaMule, the original question was about lower denom play. The STP at lower denoms (nickels and dimes) are 8/5 games. There is also full pay 10/6 DDB nickels on the 100% bank at the back valet entrance -- not just quarters and above. Sometimes those machines are hard to get on to due to the lower limits.

Yes, they're "Full-Pay" but the best Dream Card game is 99.17% Bonus Poker.  Technically Full-Pay BP, but...  I have looked at the STP paytables and was pretty disgusted.

Hey LL,
You know that is my home away from home...Tell casino hostess Esther hi for me...

OMG..There are so many good machines. My advice would be to just take a quick walk around the casino floor and get a feel for what is where. It's an easy casino to tour.

When you come down the elevator and enter the casino from the hotel there is a bank of STP that are nickle and above right before you enter the main part of the casino. Also I noticed more nickle machines by the food court.

They have the full pay machines in each entrance to the casino from the outside. I think there are 3 entrances. Those start at quarters and face the outside door so hard to see from the casino side. There is another bank of full play close to the cashier cage.   I have NEVER had any luck on them, but they still seem popular. If you are going to be there for a few days grab a cab and go to Suncoast..It's very close and a fun place to play, but if you are just there for 2 days I'd just stay at RR. All the big hits I got that I sent you were from RR. I'm so jealous. We are going back for a quick trip in Dec before our month at the condo in Feb. Until then it's this site for entertainment. Best of luck...K.

Well Quad, just because I haven't had good luck on those machines doesn't mean they are "bad" I've seen other people hit Royals and the 4 duces plenty of times. Just not ME....A lot of locals seem to favor these machines and will play JOB or the duces. I think they get to play a lot longer with those games. I've just never hit anything big on them...I prefer multi line or Progressive games.

Hopefully, the RR streak will continue. I've never left without hitting a RF.
