You were able to walk out a winner with no wild royals because your bigger wins were at the higher denomination most likely. I assume that's a big factor this year for Phil too.

And heard the "jackpot" music come from my machine from the first time. Apparently this casino had the jackpot music set up for any call attendant scenario. Jerks. Two people came by to see what I hit before the attendants appeared. I'll admit they were quick, about 2 min. at 8pm on a Friday.

It was definitely the case last night, those wins at higher denomination (3 credit flush or better) revived my bankroll at least 3 times before that final surge at the end. Things rolled perfectly to be able to last at least a thousand hands. It is actually very appealing to play out the strategy rather than hearing about it from Phil. It seems the 4 deuces revives the bankroll if played constantly on the same denomination from practicing on this site.

I had about four $1 max bet straight flushes and 1 5 of a kind at $1 max bet. I had one $5 max bet straight flush (9 thru Kings) that brought back my bankroll from the 100s to the 300s and the second 5 of a kind being at higher denomination was definitely the game changer.

Good hits on your session, it would have been nice to have gotten the 4th deuce when you got 3. Not sure if the 2nd wild royal was from playing progressively. I did nave 2 opportunities to fulfill the dream that Phil is trying to achieve.

I have not gotten a payable jackpot Game King or Action Gaming jackpot bell, flashes betwenn CALL Attendant and Jackpot! $xxxx.xx. I think the non Game King jackpots use the same bell as the IGT slot machines.

I did see the youtube video of the jackpot bell ringing at a 1 credit Jacks or Better win.

Nah, I was down about $10 when I moved to dimes. I was just trying to get enough coin in to get my parking for "free" without taking too long to do it. But that is definitely a place where I could try this system without short-coining and not breaking my tiny bank.

And as far as the jackpot noise on any handpays, that was the first time I ever heard it. If there is an error needing a handpay, a different prompt comes up at most casinos I've played at, and the machine usually annoyingly beeps every five seconds.

I think Phil would definitely love to have nickel and dime denomination Airport Deuces, there would not have been a strategy created if that was the case. If slot club points never expired like it did in the past I'd be playing it too (used to be reset only after 12 months of inactivity, now its 6 month periods). I do not think nickel or quarter JoB play will get much promotional invites or casino benefits.

Not the first time I've heard that the best paying games are on bartops. This past summer, the Luxor at Vegas had their best games on bartops at the high limit room.

I was told the reason alcohol cannot be offered for free is because the state laws regarding alcohol takes precedence, even food vouchers cannot be used to redeem alcoholic beverages. The casino personnel gets asked that frequently and response wise they definitely want to provide alcohol as a comp, as it would not cost them much to do it. Alcohol and tobacco are subject to taxes by the consumer.

Bartops provide the best paytables at Mohegan for the most part. So far, their points do not expire. They do expire at Foxwoods though. I think in a year. The downside to Bartops is they have the worst buttons due to spilled drinks etc. and sometimes you get someone sitting next to you who isn't playing and just continues to just try and strike up conversations when you might be trying to concentrate.

Yeah, missouri law forces a charge too as does much of the Midwest. Part of the reason I've gone to Tunica ~quarterly for the last few years.

Also forgot to mention I missed a flush draw that night thanks to a sticky button. Whoops.   But it wasn't at the bartop. And other MGM properties in vegas have 9/6 Jacks at the bar, but it's only at the $5 level unlike luxor.

Sam town tunica also has their best game, 9/6 jacks at the bar for quarters. As well as Resorts Tunica (98.86% double deuces prog. that can go above 100% fairly often).

For better or worse, this week I see there are new video poker machines in place. I've put in a report to VPFree, I was here this week and last week to notice such a difference.

All 18 of the NSUD machines ($1 or $1/$5) outside of the high limit room have been replaced with 24 of the newest Game King machines, it has bright LED screens (a positive). 10 of them are in $1/$2/$5 and the other 12 are in 25c/50c/$1/$2, they all share the same paytables and games as well (a positive).

It introduced 8/5 Bonus Poker and 9/7 Double Bonus and 9/6 Double Double Bonus at 25c and 50c denominations (a positive)

The Deuces Wild on these machines have been downgraded to Airport Deuces (negative)

A new game these machines have that no other machines have. Bonus Deuces Wild 25-9-4-4-3-1-1. Available for 25 cents to $5.

For the Keno players, these machines also have the greatest arsenal of Keno games I've ever seen (positive)

On the other side, there is a non IGT/Action Gaming unit providing Keno and VP. This game is similar to Dual Action (a recent game?)

Primary game is Joker Poker 2 Pair Atlantic City Progressive where 5oaK is the highest paying hand. The secondary game for 5 credits more is the Jacks or Better paytable with higher Full House, 4oaK, Straight Flush pay out. Hard to see it is 800(progressive)-100(straightflush)-45(4oak)-10(Fullhouse)-6(flush)-4(straight)-3(3oak)-2(2pairs)-1(jacksOrBetter). VPW says it is 105.99% payout, but you are hindered with a 97.19% Joker Poker game while paying double wagers.

If no jokers appear, both paytables are evaluated. If the joker is there, Joker Poker is evaluated first, and then the Joker gets replaced with a new card drawn and Jacks or Better gets evaluated next. You can choose between quarters ($1000+ prog jackpot) or dollars ($4000+ prog jackpot)

These new game kings are $5 coin in per point still (negative), but they all still have 9/6 Jacks or Better (positive)

Full pay bonus deuces is the best St. Louis offers as well for any deuces game. It's not horrid at 99.45%. I think I like bonus deuces more as well overall.

I took another trip here today, though it was not a good session of playing Jacks or Better, I saw a continued transformation of the new video poker machines on the casino floor. Now the majority of the old Game King machines have been replaced with the newer Game King machines I mentioned. I've submitted the update to VPFree and went back and forth before it got updated. This time I was able to take some pictures of the new machines. All of the machines offer the same games and at the same paytables as the $1/$2/$5. There are at least 60 (sixty) of these machines deployed now scattered across the casino floor.

All of those machines are set at $5 coin in per club point rather than $2 coin in (I played on the older machines today to get that rate). I probably will explore learning Bonus Deuces Wild into my repertoire since I can play that at lower denominations "for fun" and not status building, there is still some inventory of NSUD and 9/6 Bonus Deluxe left in high limit room which is $1 and up.

Bad image quality but this is how the machines look like

There are 2 banks that offer the games at 5 cent / 10 cent (brand new, I reported this to VPFree) / 25 cent / 1 dollar but it will still be $5 coin in a point, so it will be hard to accrue status.

Bonus Poker is 8/5
Bonus Poker Deluxe is 8/6
Deuces Wild Bonus Poker is 25-9-4-4-3-1-1
Deuces Wild is Airport 25-15-9-4-4-3-2-1
Double Bonus is 9/7
Double Double Bonus is 9/6
Jacks or Better is 9/6
Triple Bonus Plus is 8/5
Triple Double Bonus is 9/6 (this is actually much improved, before 8/5 TDB was the best and many people still played it!)

Random Full Pay games at nickels and dimes

Today session 5-15-2015

I've ruined for the 3rd time. I did get 3 sets of quads, coincidently it was all four(s), first time its happened. Though it is worth more on the Double Bonus or Double Double Bonus games, main reason for losing today is that I got very few and much less than expected Full Houses and Straights, a fair amount of Flushes. Dealt 2 pairs would not complete into Full Houses like it normally should at 1 in 9, I only hit just 1 of them.

Full Pay Bonus Deuces for dimes? Maybe nickels too since 9/7 DB is that way? Must be nice...

And 2 pair into full houses is 4/47 = 1 in 11.75. I wish I ran 1 in 9!

All the video poker games on the screenshot have the same pay table across every denomination on the new Game King machines. It would take much more screenshots to take every game at each denomination so I just included a few. Nickel Bonus Deuces Wild is available.

5cent/10cent/25cent/$1 and $1/$2/$5 machines are in limited quantity with single bank of 16 of them, but there are more banks of 25c/50c/$1/$2, all of them $5 coin in per point. It would be hard to get a seat on the nickel/dime machines, the keno players hog it up for hours at a time, need to play in the middle of the night or so. I see about 3/4 of the players play keno than video poker.

The real breakthrough out of all this is, none of the tribal casinos in the region offered decent video pokeer games for anything less than a dollar. There was 5c/25c/50c Jacks or Better here for the longest time, but now other games are available at that denomination.

I got the math off for the 2 pair into full house, was thinking about something else as it was late at night haha.
