Shouldn't be difficult. My horses always headed straight to the back of the pack.

The one at the MGM is the last horse standing from what I have read on other forums. Sorry - had to do the pun. It is another fun game, probably not the best EV but fun anyway especially if you are with a bunch of people you know.

Is this particular machine still in house and whereabouts is it located in the casino was the original question posted. If you could be so kind to reply if you know where it is.

Well I was the OP and since we are headed out to LV in a couple days, I will try to let everyone know when I know. That is assuming the hotel doesn't charge for their 24 hr self-service business center!

Wait - they used actual horses in the casino?! And they used to use ACTUAL quarters, too!

It took ONLY quarters, no TITO, no paper money slot! It was however entertaining with shouting and cheering similar to a craps table as someone suggested.

A friend of mine living up in Washington state siad theres a horse game called"Broadway Derby" with analog horses on metal poles about 2-3 inches high that "gallop" around a track complete with sound effects. 25 cents to $5 max bet on any combination similar to daily double. No tito just coins at an Indian casino. Said it seemed very popular. For those of you longing for the coin payouts, theres a website(non-gambling) called sounddogs.com with various casino sounds including coins dropping into a tray. All the sounds without the buckets or the dirty fingers! Theres also gaming chip sounds and cards shufflng etc. etc.

Not gonna lie to you, I completely forgot to check MGM for the game when we were there. I guess I got caught up in the whole "Vegas" thing...
