Thanks again all. Yes they are. I got a bit of a break when I could write all of them off as a Federal Itemized deduction, but then the 10,000 cap on state and local tax deductions killed that big time. That year I hit the cap even without deducting the state taxes paid between Real Estate taxed and our normal State withholding on our pensions plus local taxes on the cars. If I remember. I had 9,000 withheld and paid for the State in total on my W-2 Gs. That was totally lost as a Federal itemized deduction in 2018. That woud translate to roughly another 2,000 or so in Federal income tax just on that one item. There is pressure on Biden to undo that so we wil see what happens
The 3 States NY, NJ, and CT are big dem controled states so naybe it will get undone. I can already see that I could use it next year for my 2021 taxes based on the recent windfalls

Unfortunately, the Martingale Clone is still a work in progress. On an ice cold machine for an extended time perion, I have not found a way to offset the losses without budget busting. The one thing I haven’t tried is machine hopping. Due to Covid, those options are limited. My next trial will be on a loss of 100 bucks, to leave that machine and continue the pattern where I left off on the next machine. Many players already do this. I must overcome my comfort level of staying on a maching in a nice quiet area of the casino until the budget busts. With a 100 loss limit, I can bail out and try 10 machines on a 1,000 bankroll. In the height of vp one time, I decided to play a 9/6 job machine until I was up 25 cents or better and cash out. While it was torture doing this, I remember making almost 500 bucks starting with a tiny bankroll. At the time though, I had dozens of 9/6 machines I could try. Those options do not exist anymore. A couple of times, I sat down and hit a quad on the first hand. Machine hopping was a Royal pain in the behind, but it did work every time I tried it. In te world of randomness, it is not supposed to work any better than sitting at one machine all day. The only theory I have that will be immediately dismissed by others is the previous player had dumped a lot of money into the machine and lost. The machine was ready to hit when I sat down I already know such thinking will be dismissed as nonsense However, we have all seen it happen ourselves by other players in our vinicity. I already know that will be attributed to the nature of Randomness.

My last six sessions were budget busters. Mostly my fault for not bailing when ahead a bit. That said, the long dud streaks are back which are the enemy of any Martingale Clone method. My default method will be in place for my next trip. Very simple and I will just give one example. On airport deuces, do not increase my bet from 5 quarters for any reason until 250 bucks has been lost. That of course is what quad deuces pays. If I get 100 bucks ahead for a session, quit immediately. There is always another day.

Six straight negative sessions is a killer. How is that even possible at your level? You got into a stay and bust rut. Just keep it moving. If you have to take a half hour off, so be it. I've been on a pretty good run. If I ever get a $2,000, $4,000 or even $8,000 RF, it will be pure pandemonium. I was jumping up a storm at two CET casinos the past two weeks on quad Aces. No kicker? No problem!

A few phrases come to mind. Hit and run, you stay you pay, a cold machine will turn to ice, and on and on. Actually just arrived with the Mrs. at Mohegan sun. Having dinner first. It will be my default mode tonight. No bet increases until I have lost What hitting quad deuces would pay. If something good hits early, watch some games with a cold Peroni.

Yep. And on my end, I can't get cocky and must stay forever humble. Pride cometh before the fall. You've had great luck when announcing your arrival. But don't let those warm memories affect today. Not jacking up bets until you've lost what a quad costs is a great idea that I should incorporate in my play. It would have dampened yesterday's windfall. But it may save next trip's bust.

However, I am there now. Quick cocktail and light dinner, 45 minutes into the Clone getting clobbered, had no choice but to switch from quarters to halves. Was out 300 and out of the blue, this hits. Haven’t been paid yet.

Thanks. If we could predict this game, none of us would be playing quarters I guess.
