In other words, this is pure speculation, without any of evidence, other than your reported poor results, to support it.

Sorta like Christopher Steele and the Russian Dossier.
setting the Steel "dossier" aside even for a moment, one is still confronted by the incontrovertible fact that Russia seriously screwed with the US Presidential Election, on MANY levels and in many facets that is 100% unacceptable and egregious, and is as serious as it gets.....the ONLY person in Washington D.C. who refuses to acknowledge the seriousness of this crap that Russia pulled (and continues to pull) is El Presidente  Trump himself......its absurd and surreal.   If Trump & his band of followers really had absolutely NOTHING AT ALL to do with the perpetration of this crap by Russia, as Chief Executive he should be focused on protecting the most important process and aspect of the USA government and it's legitimacy (i.e. its elections), not to mention the Constitution itself......he either does not have a clue that his primary duty as President is protecting the Constitution, or does not care (not caring is the one I lean towards although cluelessness probably applies too.)I'm a HUGE fan of Mr. Trey Gowdy from SOuth Carolina (and I would assume you would be too, except for the fact I just now admitted to being an admirer of REP. Gowdy  which probably means he is now on your crap list.)     I also like Lindsay Graham........it's very sad the country is losing Gowdy, as he is sick of the whole spectacle D.C. has now become....The swamp became a sea of sewage in the last year .....

Here's the rub. Unless posters have AC play experience, this sounds insane. No substitute for the actual repeat losing trips. As for myself, I am through with Harrah's precisely because of this condition. Caesars quarters going forward for trips which I can actually appreciate.

Maybe the Russians hacked the VP servers.

If someone has primarily spent their gambling lifetime in Las Vegas and has never spent anytime in AC, I can understand the reluctance and inability to even conceive of what I'm detailing. Hell, when I first went to AC in 2009 and for the first few months thereafter, I was dumbfounded by how different things were in AC just in terms of the atmosphere in the casino's, the attitude of employees and the fact that in AC casinos, the customer is not "king" like they are in Vegas! Then once the results started becoming apparent, I realized what a different world AC is/was.

Right. LV stands on its own as the top layer. In AC, I can't recently won at Harrah's. I hate Bally's. Resorts, Tropicana and GN are money pits. It's really come down to Caesars and Borgata. I guess I'll beeline it to Borgata and secure a quarter VP ASAP in the day.

I haven't been to Atlantic City since at least 2011. Seems I have no good reason to return. Thanks for the tip!

If you have better places to gamble, and gambling is your primary hobby and reason for traveling, then yes, avoid AC...

As I've detailed numerous times, there are many reasons I go to AC that have nothing to do with gambling or casinos...I like South Jersey as a whole, it's extremely easy and accessible for me to get around, I like AC's boardwalk (although this too was in decline until recently).... I maintain just enough presence and play at the AC casinos now to have the rooms and food easily available whenever I want, but I don't focus on gambling/VP anymore... there's quite a bit to see in and around South Jersey, Philly and Delaware Bay!

Are you REALLY asking that question?
If so, the answer is TO ATTRACT MORE PLAYERS!

Hi, I see this is your fifth post so welcome to the forum and to the discussion. You seem like a very smart knowledgeable, experienced player based on your few posts, so let me briefly fill in a few blanks about the title and impetus behind this thread....

The title refers to a common, recent lament on the part of certain posters here towards the asserted opinions (mostly mine but a few others have chimed in too) that Video Poker in Atlantic City is extremely difficult to even come close to breaking even.... you really seem to lose there, far more and far often than las Vegas. For five years, 2011 thru 2016, I kept pretty good track if my overall play results and it was obvious that something statistically abnormal was going on in that I was losing at such a high rate of return it had to be due to something more than just lousy luck or variance. I have played in Vegas for many years and always was pretty close to normal in terms of results there, and I Know I'm a skilled enough player that my AC losses have nothing to do with ME...

So, I've been posting on here for a while about what I myself have seen and learned about AC and it's casinos...there is much to indicate the possibility that they are not as full of integrity as Vegas and other markets, at least not as consistently. Thus, whenever I talk about why I feel this way and have this viewpoint, it does not set or sit well with others here who seem to have their entire life involved in VP and casinos...but since they can't disprove my views any more than I can conclusively PROVE them, the next best tact for them is to ask this question you see at the onset of this thread...
