It's better to have placed and lost than never to have placed at all! We will always remember your name was once on first and we were so proud of you!

We sure are!  It looks like there's a chance bigboy's score might get knocked out as well, which I wouldn't have thought possible...

Let the current scores be a lesson.  You can't just "throw strategy out the window."  It will take a supporting "rest of the session" to augment the monster hit to claim first chair!Might be more confining but why not run it like a tournament in a casino.  Play 200 hands and the top 50% make it to the next round.  The next round would be another 200 hands and the top 50% might make up the final round.  I'd say that with each round, the score is rest to ZERO.  Maybe a consolation prize for the top 10 or 15 scores behind the winner.  Or go for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places with consolations for the remaining 7 out of the top 10.Play the games that are normally used in tournaments...DDB JOB and maybe DB unless the intent is to promote interest in some new game not yet out or that is out and not receiving much play.

Here's another suggestion.  Put together a special game for contests that combines BT/STP/QQ's/100 play/MultiStrike.  Maybe throw in JW and DW as well.  That will keep things interesting up until the last minute.

I'm sure that happened Marie...more than once if folks use a mouse to play.Less likely if you use the keyboard...and I've found it a lot faster.cvbnm are the "hold" keys and "space" or "Enter" is the deal key.

I don't see the good  "captnquint"  suggesting a new game. Besides this is simple, get to 5200 and then have 4 Aces w a 2 kicker dealt.

NICE! I haven't seen any in the contest! Have you ever seen so many dealt trips that did not become quads? Fortunately this seems to work better in casinos! NEVER give up!

Marie, you are right about the dealt trips not converting. I think there has been  more than I usually see. One other thing that has been unusual for me is that over the last two days I have had 6 Straight Flushes, only one timesed ( is this a word?) though.

Man, I've been hitting more quads than others I guess.  3-4 every session is seems. (not bad for 600 hands). Just none dealt, here.
