BTY, thinking of Caesars Windsor for our 7Star trip this year. How is first week in August up there - not too busy ? I want to see that Canadian Club Distillery.

Wear your shirt and come on over to visit - I'll buy lunch..

Log on Windsor Brewery and Distillery Tours. We have not been there but COORS tour in Golden CO was worthwhile. Tks for the thought but August is far away and so is Windsor. Our family is targeted for trouble at that border!

Billy this is a great old building. Original part  inside is Brick and beautiful Oak. A while ago ( maybe 20 years now ) Casino Windsor had a get together there. At that time that part was a Bar and Lounge area that overlooked  the Detroit River.  This of course made it easy to run Booze across the Border in the day. Side note , last house we had in Mi.was located on an Island in the Detroit River  The garage on the canal side had a basement were the bootleggers woulfd pull there boats into for off loading.

That's cool. My wife's parents house, over 100 years old, is just on the Indiana side of Lake Michigan, near Chicago and close to the lakefront. Before he passed, her father showed me the cavern under the house that was used for much the same purpose.
