New game format, continued

Post by Webman »

We're getting closer to a release here. The flash version is no longer available for 3,5, and 10 play so hopefully people can play the new format of these games and make sure it's running well on your system. If not, please take a moment to complete the form on the following page so that we can improve it prior to release.Games will not work on IE8 or older so no need to report that. If you are running IE9 or newer and you get a message about it being version 8, turn off "compatibility mode" for this site in your browser settings. Given all the recent security warnings, you may want to avoid IE altogether and get Chrome or Firefox for free.http://www.videopoker.com/beta/

I just played some 5-line VP, without flash, running WIN7 and IE11. Very slow, even with the speed indicator at max. Cards displayed in a 'herky-jerky' fashion. I hope that can be improved in the future.

Ran great for me here. Win7 64-bit but no matter what volume setting I use I have no sound in Chrome? Sound was fine in Firefox?

Be sure to use the form on the right of the page to report these issues... once you send the form it will run a diagnostic of your system that can help down any problems.http://www.videopoker.com/beta/

OK - I did that. The screen with all those little red nodules milling around while it was collecting graphical data was kind of creepy. It completed, and said I could close the window. Do I receive a report on the findings ?

Was this on your new computer, using IE11?You're only getting 11 frames per second for animation, which is really slow. Do you have another browser on the same computer you can try to see if it's any different?

No, this was on my small, HP Mini. I have not yet completed all the program migration on my main PC, now that I have updated from XP to Win 7. Is there some setting that I can look at on this smaller PC that would increase the animation speed?

Seems to be fine now. Either a fix went in or most likely an issue on my end (which I believe it was) sorry for the trouble but wanted to keep ya updated. Sound is fine in chrome now for me :)
