Re: Going to vegas..Sams Town
Hi, I live here and play at Sam's Town 3-4 times a week. It's "classic" Vegas....smokey, locals, good music. The best time to play there (I think anyway) is about 3:30am-5am. I have hit good money there many times. Had a dollar to my name one night and hit for about $300 starting out betting one nickel, then two and on up to quarters max bet. It's a lot less hustle and bustle at the off strip casinos that's for sure. Locals rarely EVER go to the Strip unless family is in town and want to do the traditional LV Strip thing. The rest of us go to the out skirts of town and play all the locals casinos. Seem to do better moneywise. Have a good trip! Might see ya there in the wee hours of the morning! KM

I agree with you - Sam's Town LV is the best for video poker in my book. Great atmosphere and good payback. Hit a royal there on my last trip as my husband was checking out for us to go home!

Might see ya there in the wee hours of the morning! KM Scary to think we may have rubbed elbows playing the graveyard shift at Sams!I enjoy hitting the casinos at that time because most (not all) tourists and locals are in bed at that time. Albeit less frequent, the drink service is better too. Perhaps we will run across one another!

I 'll throw my two cents in here, Sam's Town is awesome for VP. I have been to Vegas 8 times in 5 yrs. and have gone there each time and hit something worth my time.
Ace Invaders one year threw me over 2k, only place I could ever find Ace Invaders. I am going to Vegas in Dec. and hope that game is there !

Hankers, it was still there this past September. I found it upstairs but it may have been moved in a months time. Remaining 3 loose deuces machines are still in the same place. Triple trouble poker with the devils is now available by the cantina.

Thanks EDC, that game is so much fun !
I had also had a good time with "Ace on the Draw" machine. That was a very good one too.
62 days to go !!!!!

Yup, Ace on the draw. The machines, there were 4 I think, were across from the players club desk. Way across. You got an Ace on every draw, the paytable wasn't too bad. Cashed out at like 700$. Good playing.
However, the next time I was playing I tanked, lol.

I've heard of 'ace on the deal' but not the draw. Here is the wizards take.
