try playing part of your next trip to A/C with 1 coin bet and you might
be amazed at all of the premium hits. My theory and it is just that is
the casinos justify the total numbers of good hands by allowing most of
them to hit with 1 or 2 coins bet and they fall off dramatically with 5
or more bet. I also think this is why Fla Phil's cs record is so good.
Most of the time, 1 coin is being played. I have kept rough records, but
not exact for a year or more now on the above. If I could force myself
to do it, I think I could play all day with one twenty on either job or
deuces wild. Next time I have a bigger budget, I am going to try and
play dollars at bet 1 for the entire session. I have seen others do this
and they have made out fine too.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I think this theory may hold some water. I cannot believe how many premium hits I had last week at one skinny little quarter. So I "got greedy." I tried to inject some actual revenue into my bankroll. I was steamrolled! What a frustrating session. Look, if you're doing one coin JOB where I am, things are going to go swell. Boring as hell swell.

i just got back from 2 nites at Caesars ac and i hit twice on the same
allstar triple video poker machine. The first was Wed for aces/k on
tdb for $1000 and Th for a royal. Last nite that same machine was
hit for another aces/k.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Congratulations. I and many others would of course have steered clear of the machine after the first hit due to sheer superstition! I have limited my Caesars gambling to a half hour before departing for the marina. Good to know that the jackpots I have witnessed this year are still happening. You're also living under a lucky star. You posted at 11:11! Probably at the 11th second.

DaBurglar I have gone through losing streaks while playing video poker. I have been playing video poker since 1990, before that it was the typical slots and blackjack. Since 1990 I have had bad years but for the last 6 years the machines have been treating me pretty well. This is why I don't fret over losing because I consider video poker to be a long term adventure. My style of play is not to drop a 20 into a machine and then leave the machine because I failed to hit a royal; I invest some time in a machine.

Now as for your comment: "Indisputable fact that there is virtually NO Gaming regulatory oversight or presence anymore in the remaining AC Casinos."

WHERE IS YOUR PROOF? I dont want to hear from you that: Well I was talking to this jitney driver or, I was talking to this cocktail server." I want to see proof that these things are as you say they are. I would venture a guess that somewhere in the Gaming Regulations that govern Atlantic City casinos is language SPECIFYING things such as how many agents are in each casino, machine inspections, OVERSIGHT,etc.

I do chalk video poker play up to math. What do you chalk it up to?The proof is in the actual casinos Ted.   If you had been to even ONE ac casino in the past several years, you will see CLEARLY marked areas on the actual casino floor that have or had the words "NJ CASINO GAMING AUTHORITY"  or "NJ GAMING COMMISSION"....in a number of casinos they had their own booth or office right on the casino floor.   They are now ALL abandoned and empty and have been so for the last 4 plus years (longer in some casinos)......ANYONE who has been to an AC casino in the last decade knows of what I speak and what I am talking about.  I'd bet even Doris knows what I am talking about....but ANYONE who frequents AC knows......Then, you can ask either casino security or management to speak with the NJ gaming agent on the floor....they will all tell you "such person no longer exists, if you need to speak to them or file a complaint you need to visit their office on Tennessee Avenue".....and of course, as I said, when you now visit THAT office, you will find it most likely empty and inactive. So there, i just answered your condescending question, and **** you and your arrogant, ridiculous "Jitney drivers and cocktail servers don't count" attempt at discrediting me.....Jitney drivers are important too and perform a valuable function, and happen to KNOW and hear a lot in the AC community....so do cocktail servers.     You are a nitwit for even insinuating otherwise....and furthermore, I defy you to show me where recently I based ANYTHING I said or claim on this website of importance, that was based solely on a Jitney driver????   Friggin distorting, disingenuous jerk.....And for what its worth, you could EASILY ....EASILY verify what I say or claim on this website, but just as I suspect, your laziness trumps your arrogance and narcissism.  Call the TAJ, or Caesars AC or any AC casino and ask to speak to the "NJ gaming agent on the floor"......but nope, you wouldnt dream of doing that, you'd rather just fire off another pointless, baseless, and inherently FALSE  Anti-Burglar Post to make yourself temporarily look and feel like you "got one more shot in"........because you aqssume that the "Audience" you think is watching these pointless knife fights will not bother to notice or "think" about what you actually TYPE......wrong.   They do......the PROOF...of your laziness is in your stupid comment "I would venture a guess in the NJ gaming regulations blah blah blah...."   Why guess?   Why didnt you just read the regs yourself Genius, since proving me wrong means so much to you?   Unreal......it is almost effortless to make you look more stupid than you actually are......just use your OWN posts and words, Edited to add:   your last line, how you chalk up video poker to "MATH"....LOL!!!   Yeah right Ted, that's why as in the other thread in which Bob chided you about playing "lousy" games and quitting early and how pointless that is, that's why you play those "HIGHLY volatile games" in the first place right?   Because of the....."math"....??   HAHAHAHAHA     You do not even realize how dumb your own words and arguments really are, either that or you really do think everyone is THAT stupid and does not bother to read what you type......Yep, that's why anyone would play 10 line dreamcard with paytables that are 95% or worse....'cuz of the MATH!!!!!!   HAHAHAHAHHA

Congratulations, Doris!!! I was at Caesars on Mon & Tues this week and was dealt Aces w/K on dime Triple Double for a $2000 handpay.....Sister hit the All Star next to me on Deuces -- dealt a royal flush on nickel 5 play for a $1000. Even Spin Poker was cooking!!! Progressives DB against the wall went off twice; I also saw 3 handpays on the quarter double deuces over the 2 days..the bank behind the All Stars. Nice time in A.C.

All right Doris good for you. On your next trip to A/C you can pick me up in your Caddy and we'll go for coffee and on the way. I'll be easy to spot cause I will be in head to toe denim and look like a cross between Danny Devito and Neil Diamond. I'll just be " Standin on the corner watchin all the girls go by ".....

DaBurglar the MATH I was refering to has absolutely NOTHING to do with the paytables of any particular game, highly volitile or not.

I have read the New Jersey Gaming Regulations, we went through this before, remember?

Face it DaBurglar: you're just unlucky...at everything.
