The fact that so many players walk away with credits left on the machine seems to indicate the game attracts a lot of people looking for that one big payoff and that don't really understand the game.

I don't know if it would be legal, but how about a jacks or better game that pays 9-6, but requires six coins. The sixth bonus coin goes into a banked pool where a player randomly wins $500. You could set the bonus at the legal minimum by the state so the players would be playing a combination of full pay vp and the lottery at the same time.

Do you mean walk away with multipliers left on the machine or credits left on the machine?

What do you mean 10 play has a unified strategy?
The original comment was made by Hophoofer and he might have his own answer --- but here's how I would answer that.

There is no unified strategy.

However, on the wizard of odds site, for several (not all) Ten Play pay schedules, there is a one-size-fits all compromise strategy. A game that returns 99.5% if you know all 111 strategies for a game might return 99.4% if you use the compromise strategy. You give up quite a bit of EV, but gain a huge amount in simplicity. When I played 9/6 DDB Ten Play UX, I definitely used the compromise strategy.

There is a compromise strategy for Triple Play and Five Play as well --- except that it hasn't been published anywhere.

It takes a significant amount of programming expertise to create your own strategy for this game. The PRO software on this site is a tremendous help if you wish to do it manually --- but it's very tedious and each of the versions requires a correct play for some 131,000 hands times however many multiplier levels there are. It's not a trivial job --- and it's doubtful that you'll find pay schedules out there to make it worthwhile

UX is a gold mine for casinos due to its popularity and difficult strategy. I think the popularity is due to the potential huge payoffs like a slot machine.

It's also got to be a headache, as its can be one of the most easiest advantage plays up you'll find in a casino.
Finding the leftover multipliers is nearly impossible in AC. It’s a bit easier in local casinos. I made about $500 so far, but it’s extremely tedious.
If there's a lot of competition, then yeah, they might be hard to find.

I meant just easy to do compared to other types of advantage plays. Also, very little money is needed

Thanks for all the ult x observations everyone. I think I am going to try for the next week to play 500 hands of three hand ult x each day and see how I do. I will also try to do 500 hands of strait up three hand poker so I can compare the two. Should be easy to track.

Are you just lucky, do you hunt multipliers left on machines, or have you mastered all the basic strategies? And I will try to post daily reports each morning starting next morning for the next week.
