Although it is not anywhere in the rules, you can double down on 10 and 11 at least and split cards.
On IGT Game Kings, the rules are listed on a one-page help screen. Usually the game is 1 deck with the options you mentioned, standing on all 17s and paying on a 6-card charlie. EV a little above 97.5%.
Other possible options include double after split, drawing to split aces, and (late) surrender. If a game uses 2 decks, EV drops about 0.3%. I've never seen more than 2 decks on a Game King.
One particular rule set is mostly blank space. As I recall, there's no mention of doubling or splitting. I assumed this means the options are unavailable, but now I'm curious.
Yes it is single deck, stand 17 and 6 card charlie. Pretty sure there is no surrender but will check next week. I didn't split any hands so can't comment on the rest.
Hey , I'm not knocking it. At 97.5% for a buck it beats the hell out of 91% keno, which I saw someone playing 10 quarters a spin yesterday or 75 quarters a spin at 6-5 JOB which I saw last week-amazed.
I have settled into a habit of a little bit of 4 or 5 spot keno, a little dollar bj and a little of that 94% deuces wild. All single coin.
Beats penny slots. Sip a drink, kill some time, and check out some of the free show at the lighthouse.
If you can't beat'em (and baby you ain't beating this place no way no how) slow pay 'em!
