I thought harrahs was run by ceasers , no ??
On Total Rewards trips to Atlantic City, we have a choice between Caesars and Harrahs. We went with Harrahs because it appears to have better video poker options.

Wonder why not Bally's, it is a Caesar's property as well. Not to mention it is connected to Caesar's.

I have wondered about that, too. We have only taken one of these trips one other time. Maybe Bally's is an option for some trips but not others, or maybe it is an option for players with more status than I have? Don't know.

I stay at Bally's most times I go to AC. Will be there this weekend actually. I haven't had any problems with bed bugs. They have also done a lot of renovations. The Jubilee rooms are very nice.

. . . The odd thing we have noticed is not many people in casinos wearing masks. We thought most people would cover up but not so.
. . . .
Why is this "odd"? Why would people cover up? Masks are intended to be used by people WITH illness. They are useless for everyone else. With this kind of stupid misunderstanding, no wonder the Costco locations here in Vegas are sold out of bottled water, toilet paper, 50 pound bags of rice and Spam.
Commonly repeated by locals here: The Asians are planning to ride out the coronavirus in their bathrooms. All the photos in the LVRJ of local Costcos are of Asians hauling out the above items. Fact.

Individual opinion of the Coronavirus effect here in Vegas: it is NOT impacting Strip hotels and events. We have VGK season tickets, and the games are still packed to the rafters, sold out, even as of tonight. Over 18,000 people touching handrails, high-fiving each other, and so on. We went to Cosmo for a snack, and the place was also packed full.
Interesting that our local, the M, is very quiet. It does have a significant Asian customer base (so, see my post above, they are all hiding in their bathrooms at home with their 300 rolls of toilet paper)

Italy just closed all of their schools nationwide. The man in New Rochelle Ny who is in critical condition has just infected his wife and children. Not only that, his neighbor who drove him to the hospital is now infected with the Corona Virus. Latest news from this morning

Sure the masks might no do any good but many people believe they are better than nothing. I am not saying they do any good. I often saw people wearing masks before this virus was even heard of. Same reason people are hoarding water, toilet paper etc. Fear.

For the moment, not changing a thing. Most states are in the single digits still. And Nevada is surprisingly still zero!

Bought some disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer, and Zicam today as I'm starting to see those run low lately.
