When Will the Casinos Reopen?

Gambling addiction hotlines and organizations must be swamped by now. I'd hate to be taking those calls. But I would like to be a fly on the wall. "I went online, now I'm off the rails! Heeeelp." If there is one vice I want to avoid in life, it would be this very one.

One question that running through my mind relates to play requirements to achieve tier status at various properties. Are they going to be adjusted downwards?

I am assuming the answer is yes, but you just never know.
Excellent question. I would have preferred if you had started a new thread rather than burying here. Someone casually perusing the Recreational forum might find it of interest but not see it. Looking at numbers, there are many more observers than posters most times visiting the various forums.

I seem to recall seeing something recently either from CET or Hollywood, telling that adjustments will be made when it comes to earning tier credits and tier status in 2020.

I believe you will see an increase in offers and incentives when the casinos reopen. The chain of losing and recovery has been broken and they will need to brings players back to the fold. I expect to take advantage of them while they last.
What? No prediction?

Soaring Eagle Properties has already said that we will keep our tier levels for the rest of the year. I would expect that would include the freeplay levels too.
People who suffer from seasonal disorders will be getting worse because of staying in place and not getting any sun. I expect the casinos will have to ramp up the offers and promos to get these people back.
There are a lot of people who are afraid to even go out of the house to get the mail or get groceries.

Whew Phil, you had me worried. Your first post was three short sentences (and a comment(!)) which in addition to brevity was a good question. Then you replied with a post of three short paragraphs. Sensing a pattern, I expected the next post to be either 1) three long paragraphs, 2) six short paragraphs or 3) three short chapters.

Much to my surprise you returned to three short sentences. Have you been reading Shakespeare?

I distinctly remembering receiving an email from CET, not long after the closure, saying just that, that they would be adjusting requirements for certain benefits. I just looked- it was a YouTube video from Tony Rodio. He said Reward credits would not expire while closed, they are prepared to modify tier status earning requirements (depending on how long this lasts), reschedule events & offers you may have received and refund some missed 7* experience offers. Realize this is only Caesars properties...

I just looked a bit further back in my April emails and I did receive something from MyChoice regarding tier credits and tier status. They said that they would be communicating with MyChoice members ways to retain tier status for 2021. They also guarantee that any freeplay offers, cashback offers, hotel or food offers that were for the period of the closures; duplicate offers would go out once the casinos reopened.

if its was up to me, i would re-open everything, freedom of choice made us americans i feel less american each day and more like russia with this force of shut down. i used to live in a world where politics didn't affect me, now they do, now i fear for the collapse of usa w/o tax money paying the way what other direction are we going?
