I like to grab a Starbucks when I first walk in. Can’t get near the lounge lately. Limited Covid seating, thus long lines. I don’t do lines well. Once I find a 99 percent machine void of idiots in the immediate vicinity, I will settle in for the hopefully not too too long haul. Most of the waitresses know me by now and if they see me playing without a drink, an Ice cold Amstel light will appear. I like to walk the casino as well to loosen up the joints after the luckily just an hour’s car ride. My pace is just under a run. Mohegan still offers me 365 coffee and which is nice, but Starbucks doesnt participate. Only DD, Krispy, and house coffee all inferior IMO to Starbucks. Today I encountered a new version of what I call people of the casino. A clone of people of Walmart. You only find these people at carnivals, Walmart, or casinos. I don’t know where they hipernate otherwise. This guy cut my play in that area short. He wasn’t a regular. Every losing hand was followed by the F word. Every winning hand no matter how small was followed by ear piercing clapping. Amstel light in hand, I lost this loser in a hurry!!!! Luckily, found one other open 99 percent machine. By the way, he was playing dollars and holding 3 to a straight in JOB. Thus a lot of F words. 😂

So much warrants a reply. Frustrating forum system creates a reply box, unable to see prior posts. I had to cut and paste. I should do more walking myself upon arrival just to loosen my joints, since my ride is twice as long. If only my place served Amstel, an outstanding product. I'm okay with casino's coffee, but SB is the best. AC Mall had the only SB in America built over the Atlantic Ocean; breath taking to sit and relax there with that view! Now I must settle for actually bringing in the brew in hand and sitting at a nice relaxing wooden bench over the ocean. I think I could get used to a new routine, though. Transfer money to a pouch, which keeps me from throwing good money after bad. It will beat the old routine, busting. Plenty of 99% machines, so no rush whatsoever. It's amazing how many people we see that can't even correctly play JOB. I know that I'm not playing any machine for over a damn hour anymore. It never ends well.

At least you eventually wear the machine out and it provides at least partial compensation much of the time. I can't even ride out the demise for the resurrection! It's a lose/lose more proposition.

Clone came through. 6 hours of play was down 300 before the quad deuces hit. Time for some Jasmine tea and time to pack it in. Greed sows nothing but weeds. No matter how high a quality are the seeds.

Great bailout. Of course take the $450 and run after six hours!

Net was 150. Anyway, started a rematch early this morning. The quad deuces hit in the first hour. Then as feared, it went into reverse. I was in considerable trouble after that with the close. It called for halves and had me on the ropes. Then the quad tws hit again big time. Done for this trip. The smaller hit was first this morning

Another great session. I love how you conveniently photographed the machine number (1841) for me if I ever go. It really pays to keep the bets not only small, but microscopic, for the first hour. Once you're way down, the quarter hits are just tragic footnotes to a losing trip.

Amazing on how the same two machines hit over and over again and others are total duds. I have a lot of trouble believing totally in thr RNG when you see things happen over and over again. Anytime I vary from these two machines, well at least 80 percent of the time I have a losing session. My wife plays strictly nickels and usually DDB Ultimate X. Same deal out of maybe 20 machines only two hit regularly. I would normally say hogwash if I didn’t see the patterns in millions of hands.

I still need more discipline. Tend to speed up the clone too much. What I really need to stick to is just keep track in my head of how big my bet needs to be if the quad deuces hit to be even. If at session end, they haven’t hit, start the next session where I left off. Very simple formula. If I am down less than 250 bucks on quarters, just stay at bet 5. That way any Royal that comes along, will be a gift.
