Good luck to you and your wife Hiker. Really nice that you support your local animal shelter. I am a pet parent of 4 cats my late wife and I rescued. I support n area shelter as well though not to the degree Olds does. I have a friend who is very active volunteering with a shelter in Jersey. Could be the one you support if that's where you live.Hiker1 wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 4:12 pmI agree OTABILL and olds…, my wife and I congratulate the others as well when they’re next to or near us and they hit a Royal or a nice 4OAK. And we’ve had people do the same to us. We’re all trying and it should be fun, they just pushed the button at right time. Hopefully we will too when we hit Borgata later this week. And nice gesture donating to the shelter, we likewise support our local one. Good luck in the casinos….

Thanks OTABILL, we live in Virginia, just prefer Borgata to our closer casino here. Go up about every 4-6 weeks, for 3 nights usually. Nice just to getaway too. Thanks too for being a rescue pet parent. We’ve focused on rescue dogs, but cats are cool. Our last cat, who lived 22 years, was best buds with one of our dogs. Good luck to you.

A lady at fox w. playing 25 a tug next to me , a few years ago, hit a 20 grand royal ! I was genuinely happy for her, Even more so when she put a 100 dollar benjie on my screen for me. I told her if I hit a royal she would get 300 dollars from me. I must admit at times I root against some people that are annoying. maybe thats wrong. well if I hit she would have got the best of it. She left shortly after. I didnt hit.OTABILL wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 11:49 amWhen my wife and I went to the casino and someone nearby hit a royal or other good hand, we would always congratulate them regardless of how we were doing. Their good fortune was independent of our results. The same with those sitting next to you FAA.onemoretry wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 9:53 amDo you actually believe all this stuff, or do you post it just to generate reactions?

Feb. 25 Post: "7 Stars hit a $4,000 RF five minutes after I relinquished machine. I congratulated him and even took photos. Good thing I took a break. Five minutes later, quad deuces to salvage my trip!"

I know this doesn't fit everyone's venomous narrative, but there it is. When RF hits twice in under three months on the same machine, it might be a good idea to play it for a while next time. That's all.

I questioned a longtime valet parking attendant about this. Although today was a Wednesday, he said it was "his" Friday. He explained that if a machine pays too many jackpots, it will then tighten up to keep its payout percentage within the target range.
Then I asked, if dealt three to a royal with a pair of jacks, should I try for the royal if I feel lucky?
He said he wasn't allowed to answer that.

With apologies to Olds for deviating from the Bizarro World theme, curious as to where in VA. I lived there for many years. First in Arlington, then Fairfax County. Number of friends and relatives still are there. Never did go to AC. I was not into VP until I met my late wife and moved to AZ. Again best wishes for lots of success.Hiker1 wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 4:41 amThanks OTABILL, we live in Virginia, just prefer Borgata to our closer casino here. Never any need to apologize for deviating as this thread is pretty much a mix of everything but thanks just the same. Our family farm is about as far away from Fairfax as you can get. 3 miles from both Kentucky and Tennessee. What a hike to A/C that would be. However, one of my best friends retired from the Defense Dept lives in both Fairfax and Arlington. Another good friend now passed on lived in Laurel Maryland not that far away.
As to Bizarro World, the Mrs. and I plan an overnight tonight. I have had good success the last 3 sessions with an ultramild Martingale Clone program on JOB, picking up 100-300 each session. If it makes a Dozen straight sessions without a failure, I will post the detail in chart form so no math will be needed as one plays. I am still way behind on Royals. 185,000 hands and Counting. This Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning’s sessions were part of what I mentioned above. One was full of quads and one was full of houses. Heee heee. Had 3 chances ata Royal. All whiffed. One of the redeal hands cane back with AKQJ9 of Clubs and another redeal came back with 910JQK of Spades for a nice straight flush with 12 bet. I must have had several dozen chances at a Royal needing two cards including 3 chances in a row.

We’re both frustrated. They come around about on schedule for me. The problem is my bet amount!

Olds, I apologize for any deviation too, I don’t post a lot, just follow along mostly and this is one of the more active strings. OTABILL, we live in Fairfax County. We haven’t been to Mohegan Sun, a little further afield for us, but would like to, although from the posts it seems the VP is waning there - as it is most places. We focus on Borgata and a trip or two to Vegas each year. Olds, I feel the pain on the Royals, although not to your level yet. I’m 0 for +100,000 hands and counting, but the Mrs is 5 for her last +100,000 hands, so we’re close to avg when combined. We have a friendly rivalry, but the money goes home in the same car . On the other hand, far more As and 4s with kickers than avg in DDB, SDDB, and TDB have me ahead for the year. 2s and 3s don’t want to play much for me. Good luck to you and Mrs Olds. May a Royal be in your future. OTABILL, good luck to you as well, and safe travels to all.OTABILL wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 9:47 pmWith apologies to Olds for deviating from the Bizarro World theme, curious as to where in VA.
