What percentage of people mute?

Not necessary for me. Casinos are so noisy, I always have my hearing aids muted.

Never. If the machine sound is broken, I'll move.
Now I don't want the sound at high blast to possibly annoy others, but I like the sounds. Especially Super Times Pay. And how can you play "Quick Quads" without the guy yelling "Quick Quad!" when you hit one!?!?!

Wow, I feel stupid after all these years. I knew you could mute here on the site, but can you really do that in a casino? I've never noticed sound controls on the games. I've noticed some old machines with no sounds which always drove me crazy and I just assumed the speaker was broken, but I didn't realize it might be a setting I could change somewhere.

Yes it can vary. Some machines do not have settings and are set by the casino. I like a low or at most a medium volume setting.
