I actually did bring 80% less bankroll today and voila, back in the black! Never touched that $20 anyway! I chose Bally's on the change of scenery theory. My $25 voucher became $21. I was sure that a quad was near, so I recycled it. Sure enough I soon drew two more nines at max bet and cashed out with $50. My March RF machine paid another dividend. Time for craps. Guy rolled me a sweet seven on that $25 voucher. Beeline for cage. Lunch at RubyT. Wacky broad at next table offered me a $5 off $15 coupon, but that was too rich for my blood! She later told waiter that she dragged her friend down from King of Prussia to play the bus money and eat on a BOGO. They kept asking for napkins and lemon water. Coupon crone even felt up the waiter's hands when he said it got cold inside. I highly doubt that a bonus tip was left for this hapless hipster! Checked this week's wedding parties on the boardwalk; Napoli-Pagnotta nuptials. That's amore! Checked Caesars progressive. A mere $1,098. No $1,100, no play. How's that protest? Bank was totally empty. Word must be out! I bought nice $2 crystal AC lighthouse figurine with RCs, which I later realized triggered a playing day! May as well try dollar JOB. Some high rolling Seven Star in a Phillies hat had $750 in machine I wanted. I didn't want adjacent one, fearing his max style was a bad influence! On another 9/6, I only played one bet two hand, good for two pair. Made $8 in eight minutes and cashed out, having recouped lunch tab. Left town. Bon apetit, CET!
Sure enough I soon drew two more nines at max bet and cashed out with $50.
If your goal is to manage your money on a session basis, setting your cash out limit low and sticking to it is critical.  I know you already know this, many don't.  Some players will tell you this doesn't matter because they believe the odds and your accuracy alone determine the eventual outcome.   I believe it's more important to manage loses than engineer wins.   It's the same game, just a different viewpoint.

It's not even the $50 level rationale. That's just a bonus. Post JOB quad, the give back is in full swing in 90% of sessions. Skip this movie! Just get the hell off. Non negotiable. Felt great to avoid toxic Caesars for most of the day. I limited myself to a scant eight minutes. I'd rather win in a slum tenement than lose in a castle.

October is most inhospitable. I won $20 on $25 Bally's voucher. Lost it and another $20. The usual dour hour. I lost my other voucher on a craps three. A second horrific bland Ruby lunch. There will be no third strike. Out of curiosity I entered Caesars. JOB Progressive was $1,270! One of the six machines was broken. Ill bred guy adjacent used it as his ottoman! Just no social graces here. On the other side, the elderly man I often play alongside went bust. I had very little money, so I passed. Plus there was a hub/wife next to him doing the up/down routine. Pass the Dramamine! Man who jumped on got a quad and full house, then gave it back. I had to leave for a fun night back home. Someone will take it tonight if these boorish barracudas go hungry. What a loathsome crew! I did make $3 on dollar JOB no card. Net loss $37.

I love your frugal play.  You won't set the house on fire, but you won't lose your butt either. If you hit a royal, you should be ahead for years...

After my bitter high roller September, I must hit and run. Last month was a mega loss. There were so many jerks and louts at both venues today. Even with a bankroll, too stressful to play.

I was so impressed with yesterday's Progressive that I chose Caesars today. Of course it was now $1,001! I wanted the dollar machines, but the two I preferred were taken. Luck bad already. So, I tried three quarter ones and got $10 from $20 FP. I strolled upstairs and was quickly reminded of the poor pay tables. I did see a memorable sight. A Triple Diamond slot player collected $3,000 in thirty crisp bills for his jackpot. Back downstairs, the disheveled guy with a fist full of cash had left. He was doing okay at DW. I chose JOB and got $7 from my remaining $5 FP. I recycled the $17. Lost it and some of my precious cash. It looked bleak. Then I was dealt four Kings for $50! Ten TC mark, similar to the juncture with quarters when a quad appears. I lost my craps bet again, nine to seven out. Resorts lunch. The mile RT walk calmed me down. More evening plans tonight, so I left. No give back at least. I still lost $17 in this rainy weekend.

I gave Caesars another shot Friday. I won $20 from $25 FP and $25 from table FP on a craps five hit. Unfortunately, I lost it all plus $100. Dollar JOB was again a bust. I even threw in some DW. Bally's is my ally! At Caesars I will be murdered as surely as its namesake. Too bad. It's a cushy casino. I got caught up in the trappings and continued to dismiss its unplayable VP. Big time wreckage. Net loss $165.

Bally's was my ally today. I saw a man lose $200 on slots in HL room in a blink as I had a drink. Lucky I play VP. I won $19 from my $25 voucher, which rose to $39. Then I lost it all. $250 cash in and five TC. I was unwilling to invest $20 for what would likely be a $19 quad. But that farrago fueled me to try the adjacent machine with $20. In a minute, I cashed out with $51.50. Got a pair of Kings and the other two arrived for their bridge game. Craps time. My turn to roll. I bet a buck to soften the blow if I crapped out. What a waste. Quick seven! I passed the bones and let the remaining suckers sweat it out. Stick man was stunned by my speed as I sprinted off with $25!
At Harrah's, ten dollars in FP awaited. Who knows why? I avoid the place like the plague. But I accepted the free ride and FP. I found $5 on the floor before I even started. Hi, Abe. I won $12, then lost it. I was sure a quad was coming, so I anted $15. I soon cashed out $32 after the $19 quad. Only $100 cash in, so a whopping 2 TC. I splurged on a $15 M&S HH lunch. So basically CET bought me lunch. More accurately, I bought myself an expensive lunch, given last month's losses which prompted their largesse. I really wanted to go to Resorts, but Hurricane Matthew remnants were too much to take. I just drew myself a circular sign. Caesars in the middle with a red line through it. I keep it with all my player cards. I refuse to enable this place.

Forum waiting with bated breath for an update is rewarded. All at Bally's. After winning $13 and saving slip, I got my $25 FP to $38. Then I lost it all plus $20 greedily seeking a quad. I did win $25 on craps FP with a quick seven and settled for leaving up $18. One SOB who buys discounted vouchers got very lucky with three max quads at the other three machines on the bank, which infuriated me. These people typically ruin my Bally's mornings. I could choose Caesars, but that's a money pit for the time being. Lunch at Resorts. I won $10 at craps there over five rolls and split. Bally's Act II: The Revenge. I saw $1,250 in credits for The Slammer playing dollar denom. I would quit. But then he must go home and slam all his doors for hours. I inserted $15 and in ten minutes got my fourth Ace on max bet; $39 cash out. Happy to leave town up $52 and $32 net. No time for Borgata or Harrah's, but it worked out in the end. Caesars JOB Progressive was $1,020. Must be more disciplined w FP winnings. Profit Chaser, not Quad Chaser!
