Denomination Question?

Post by FloridaPhil »

Next week my wife and I are taking a three day VP trip for my birthday.   The best single line deuces wild game in this casino is 98.9%.  The odds are the same from quarters all the way to $20 a coin.  This is the VP game we prefer and know best.  My wife will play max coin quarters the whole time.  I will also play mostly max coin quarters.  I would like to play $20 at a time in quarters and change the denomination to 50 cent play when the counter reads $40.  If I lose my $20, I'll start over again with my next $20 in quarters.  I am not doing this because I believe I will see any more jackpots at 50 cents after a run up in quarters.  I enjoy playing this way because it makes the game a little more exciting.  As the quarter odds and the 50 cent odds are the same and I will be playing max coins with both denominations, this seems to be a neutral move to me. I believe this will have the effect of playing at about 37.50 cents a coin.  Does anyone see any flaws in my logic or reasons why I shouldn't play this way if I want to?  Thanks.

It is not any better or worse than playing 25cents all the time or 50 cents all the time truthfully, if it is more fun to you all the better. For sure it is better than single coining $1.

Happy 70th birthday (if you are the same age as Mr. Dancer if I recall)! Good luck and Have Fun!

Thanks!   I'm curious, does anyone else ever enjoy doing this type of thing?
