Four to the Royal Frequency
I play mostly .25 DDBP , Triple BP, and Bonus Deuces...typically 2-3,000 hands in a sit. I typically get 4 to the Royal at least 10 times a session (not counting dirties) and yesterday was dealt to me 3 of those - which is also typical. Is this within standard odds?

Don't know the exact numbers, but being dealt 4 to a Royal is not an infrequent occurrence. In a day's play we usually see more than one. What's much more common is to miss a royal by 1 card. This happens so frequently that my wife and I have a running joke about it. Every time someone playing close by gets excited because it happens we chuckle among ourselves. This happens so frequently we actually think the game developers throw these in just to add excitement to the game. This would be against regulations. Still, you have to wonder?

Not counting Wild Cards, I'd say I get four to a Royal once every two or three sessions, and my sessions are 700-1000 hands so I'm about on par.
My last Royal( second ever), I was playing NSUD and didn't even realize it was four to a Natural.
Looked at the hand, saw I had five outs to a Wild Royal and it didn't register for a few seconds when the King popped up.
Had a session recently playing BP that I must have gotten four or five in about two hundred hands, but didn't even get a paying pair out of it.

My sessions run about 5000 hands. My average is about one, two, or even three a session. I guess I'm about on par also. My frequency for connecting is way way less than one in forty seven, so I almost have to agree with Phil. By the way, I have kept track of this for millions of hands and it has always been way less than one in forty seven every year.

I barely do 1,000 hands per visit. I don't get too excited about the the 3RF anymore, seeing it ten times per visit or so.

Just for the record, it's 1 in 2765 for a game using a 52 card deck. (ie: no Joker)=4x5x47 / 2,598,960 = 0.00036168or2,598,960 / 940 = 2,764.85

Haven't connected on a one card draw to a royal in a long time. Don't know how many chances I've had recently, but now i just asuume it ain't gonna happen. Last royal, I drew 3 cards to fill it in. What is that a 1 in 12,500 chance or thereabouts? Most royals come on 2 card draws because you get a lot more chances at them.
