Researching the Forbidden Forbidden

Post by FloridaPhil »

I spent the afternoon Googling the forbidden forbidden.  I was not expecting to find anything except a clash of egos.  I have to say it was pretty interesting and much of it controversial.   I suggest every member of this website do the same.  At least you will know what this is about even if you think it's bunk.  I did it out of curiosity. A couple of personal comments just to head off any arrows coming my way.  I believe State regulated VP is totally random.  There is no need for the casinos to rig the games, especially with today's odds.   I do not believe a player can take advantage of streaks.  There is no way to do that because you can't tell if you are in one until it's over.   I also personally doubt there is any strategy that will absolutely positively guarantee a long term win.  I do believe you can do lots of things to stack the odds in your favor, but no one can make jackpots happen.I'm satisfied that I'm not missing out on anything.  Back to my nap.  Yawn....

But, there have been times when you have stated just the opposite. It's certainly hard to keep up with you as to your stance on this subject!

I'm not in the future predicting business.  Streaks happen.   If you find yourself in one and you happen to benefit,  it's a good thing.   I don't know how you can tell when one is coming or when it's going to be over.   I only take into the casino what I am comfortably with losing.  I play the best I can and let the cards fall as they may.  If I win, I'm not taking credit for it and if I lose I'm not crying about it.   I gave up thinking I can affect my results one way or the other a long time ago.
