Why do you play video poker? What is your favorite game and why?

What is your goal? To reach a certain credit level a certain percentage of the time when starting at zero?

Yes, if somehow you knew that you were not going to get a quad BEFORE PlAYING, you would be better off on a game where 2 pair doubles your money. How you would know this - I haven't a clue.

Quad based games, like DDB or TDB, are downright nasty if you have a long quadless streak. But on the flip side, if during your session you hit many quads (hopefully some are aces, twos, threes, or fours) you will come out far ahead (compared to Jacks or better). That is why some people refer to high variance games as "heaven or hell".

i am just trying figure out which games to play , Phil recommends a low variance games so far i agree, my simulations are not mirroring my results. and also Daburglar seems to be correct about an outside force tempering with my results in ballys and caesars. i havent had any good resultS after their updates
