Phil has given the VP "intelligentsia" their next book idea. Whoever runs with it first to market will be poised to cash in. Wake up and smell the bitter coffee! Ain't nobody having fun in casinos long term. Certainly not this player.

Players who play negative VP games are owed answers just as much as those who play positive games.
"Owed answers?" By whom? And what, exactly are the questions to which they are owed answers?
It was a pretty funny, obvious typo/Freudian slip in CK's post, don't you think? Eating lots of lobster and crab in the middle of the southwestern US is itself a bit ironic...when the word "crap" appears, whether inadvertently or intentionally, it invites silliness.Yes, I noticed CK's malapropism prior to your comment. Since you seemed so self-tickled with your mild word play, I thought you could appreciate the additional level of sarcasm manufactured by weaving in a portmanteau with a reference to a recent post. It appears that my verbal wit went at least one degree too far, so to you it seemed more like pun-ishment than pun. I'll try to aim lower in the future to avoid losing you.

So why don't you tell me what is really bothering you this time....Oh … so, you ascribe being bothered as primary causation for one's postings? Since you post an order of magnitude more often than I do, I guess that helps to explain a lot. But, sorry, you missed the mark once again. I'm happy as could be. But I should also express sympathy if you believe that your frequency of posts apparently reveals some measure of being disturbed.

I hope the rest of your day is better for you.

I didn't read your other referenced comment until just now, and I had forgotten Ted's whole James Madison rif until just now as well...had I done so I would have appreciated what you said, but you can't fault me for assuming a defensive posture when it comes to you actually quoting one of my posts within one of YOUR posts. You do a fair job of finding fault or simply poking fun, better than most. And I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that....

By the way I have been posting much much less overall in the last several months...magnitude is shrinking
Maybe deep down he really is a friendly person... I'd donate a kidney to
save his life if he needed it, and I'd rather get along than not get
along with just about anyone, even you. But some people just are not
interested in that...
I wouldn't go that far.    I have nothing personal against "Bob Dancer" and I certainly am not jealous or envy him.  I am pleased with who I am and don't wish to be anyone else.  I have few regrets in my life and lots of things to be proud and happy about. This is a video poker forum, not the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.  All my disagreements with " Bob Dancer" are about his VP strategy and his marketing, nothing else.  I do not believe you can correlate what happens in a computer lab with what happens when a human being plays VP in a casino.   In my view, sitting in front of a positive video poker game emulating a computer will not guarantee you will win long term.  This sounds great on paper, but it has never worked for me.  A few people on this forum believe it does.  There are just as many who don't. I will say this.   If anyone put as much time, effort and money into video poker as does "Mr. Dancer", they would be successful no matter what strategy they used.   Over the playing lifespan of an active video poker player he/she will play many millions of hands.   Of those hands a tiny number of them will be jackpots.  Those jackpots determine long term profitability.  There is no strategy that will make jackpots appear more or less frequently.   Playing better games better lets you play more hands.  It does not now or ever guarantee a long term win.  If you want me to say it makes it more likely to win, I'm OK with that.In a totally random game, some will win and some will lose.   100 computers all playing the same VP game will come up with the same results in the future.  How much time does that take?   If you think it's one or two royal cycles, how haven't played VP very long.In my view the promise of guaranteed long term profits from Advantage Play is pure marketing.   Obviously "Bob Dancer" and others will disagree with me.  They are entitled to their opinions and so am I.  Silencing me won't change anything.  As long as we limit our discussions to video poker, we can all enjoy this forum.  When we start calling people names or questioning their intelligence is when we get off the track.   As long as I am on this forum, I will continue to express my opinions.   Disagreement is good for the forum, personal attacks are not.
