W2G five play question

W2G five play question

I was playing dueces wild $1 five play and hit two of my plays for 4 dueces. The hand pay was $2060 (two quad deuces and some change). I was given a W2G. Is this correct? I thought each play was like a separate $5 bet. Thanks.

Correct me someone if I am wrong, but I believe anytime a machine for whatever reason pays out 1200 or more a W-2G is required to be issued.

You were mistaken. $1,200 is $1,200 regardless of the unique permutation of your choice. Personally, I await my first hand pay.

I can't wait until hand pays and w2-g's are no longer a necessity!
