DaB..... I am reminded of a quote from an ancient chinese philosopher 2400 years ago "If you seek to reform a society, you must first call things what they ARE".

"Centrist" politics is nothing more than collusion between so called opposing parties who both have the same objective. That objective is very simple and the only thing common and dominant in the minds of most politicians.

That objective is to maintain their office and political power! They do this by buying votes with taxpayer money!

Your rant (just calling things what they are) against president Trump misses the point of what he is trying to do. He is not a politician. He is a businessman. He understands that the ruling political cabal,the insiders,the deep state,the power mafia that pulls the strings no matter who is in office, is not looking out for the american taxpayer. You may not understand what he is trying to do but they do!

Therefor the ruling click is trying to destroy him. So far they seem to be on that road. The media and all the progressive liberal koolaid drinkers try to keep him off balance but the real war is behind the scene.
The politicians defensive insulation is being attacked layer by layer,the huge cesspool of gov. agencies and programs that do nothing but feed the power system and bleed the american taxpayer is being reevaluated.

If you doubt what i am trying to say,take this into consideration. 45 of the 50 richest counties in america are in a ring around Washington! Why is that? They produce nothing, they add no wealth to the economy, they simply feed at the public trough!

The battle is not yet lost. But the ignorance of massive numbers of voters is a tough load for for the warriors to haul. Stay tuned.

well clearly you've joined yourself to the original stated "goal" of the Trump campaign, which was to reform EVERYTHING in DC and drain the symbolic swamp.....problem number uno sadly, is that Washington DC is not, repeat NOT a swamp...it is a bottomless abyss full of a lot more than just dirty water. It's still a somewhat free country though, so I really don't care if you have swallowed everything Trump has served up, I just don't believe in all these questionable entities you reference, like the DEEP STATE....who precisely is the powerful corrupt clique (not "click" ) you referred to briefly?

Trump's stated goals sadly do not line up with his character, his history, his methods, his personality and most of all since he actually took office, his original goals do not "jive" with his actual actions since inauguration....except of course the obscene tax cuts.

Regarding the term "centrist", I understand your cynical definition and how you arrive at it, but I still adhere to the actual definition of centrist and believe it still has viability.

Not to be flippant but to add an historical fact, parts of DC, particularly the area where the State Department Building is located, was originally literally a swamp, thus the nickname Foggy Bottom. In the early 19th century the area plagued by malaria due to the landscape. The swamp was filled in and malaria eliminated.

You agree with what exactly Jim? Ted was simply making a typically obnoxious but still technically valid point concerning a particular style within some of my posts....Ted would have me reduce my usage and application of the term "defy", which of course, I'm going to choose not to do.....you might say, I defy this attempt to reduce my use of defy.....ahahaha giggle snort ack cough wheeze.

Similarly Jim, I'm going to choose not to "shut up", mainly because you have no reason, or business getting THIS pissed off regarding my posts and he fact I choose to talk about politics (and in my defense, overall I post far far less these days than in the past, so your emotional outburst is even less appropos)....why don't you just do what Ted cannot and will not do, which is just pretend I do not exist and ignore every single solitary thing I post on this forum????
